27.01.2022 Amy's memorial service, to commemorate and celebrate her wonderful life, will be held on Tuesday 3rd October in the Presidential Room, Simonds Stadium. Please extend this invitation to past players and members of our modda family. Please no flowers but donation envelopes will be available with all proceeds going to the RSPCA. 20.01.2022 Vale Amy Gorell. Our hearts are broken. It was only a couple of short weeks ago that you won the league Best and Fairest for the second time and also won Modewarre Under 19's Best and Fairest. Not bad for someone who started footy just to help us field a team. You were always so humble. You have touched so many lives and left an indelible mark on girls footy in Geelong. You are one of our captains, a role model, a leader, a friend, a mentor, an all round great young person wh...o had the brightest of futures. You were supremely loyal to the footy club and to your team mates. Amy, when you played, your team mates knew you had their backs. I often told you I would be kicking back on the sofa, drinking champagne and watching you tear it up on the MCG. Life is not always fair. I won't be saying goodbye. I will be capturing your determination, strength and courage and holding this close to my heart. Deepest condolences to Amy's family and friends. Always our precious #6. A Warrior forever. See more

In her time at Modda she was also club and league Best and Fairest and was also a stand out captain of our team. We wish you the best of luck and hope you have a fantastic time over there representing Australia! What a legend, Meeks!

16.12.2021 Now that round 3 has been completed we have more of an idea where we sit in Division 1. We have lots of things to work on but the overall development of the team is super pleasing. Yesterday's game and win over Torquay was a great sign as we were able to finish with a blistering last quarter, turning a 2 point lead to a 40 point win.

28.11.2021 Round 1: GWSP V Modewarre. Sunday 23rd April 11.50am. Bakers Oval, Geelong West. Please be there by 11am for pre-match and warm up.... 10.11.2021 Modewarre Youth girls is still recruiting for season 2017. If you are aged between 13 and 19 and want to play footy then you should head to our club. We are proud of the work we do developing young footballers, many of whom progress into Women's competition. If you want the best coaching in a welcoming, supportive environment then come and be part of the team!

31.10.2021 Due to the long weekend we will not be training on Monday. Training resumes on Wednesday. New players welcome.
