22.01.2022 One of the limits that all locomotive sound installation have is the speaker, if you listen to any sound decoder on a larger speaker this is apparent. Now, you can boost up bits rates, power but there is no getting around the limits imposed by the speaker. Surface mount speakers have been around for a while but they are big and clunky, till now. These speakers mean that the shell can become a speaker and that opens up a lot of new series of possibilities. Before there is a u...nified cheer, a 30 x 30 x 0.7 mm is $118 so at this time they like all new items, they are for earlier adaptors. The retail price will drop, no manufacturer is going to pay that much more than a current speaker to incorporate into a product. The possibility is great. Just watch the link.

11.01.2022 We did not receive any of the cheap 38 as our order was in to late,. Also, I have been buried in a personal project that is eating me slowly so little time. The Eureka 50 like all steam trains is sensitive to power pickup and generally, we do not install decoders in steam engines without a stay alive - they are that good. With this engine, we installde a LasicDCC medium stay-alive with good results.
