25.01.2022 Today we were allowed into the park limited numbers and distancing of course. One of our junior members got to learn how to drive bluegum today. You done a bloody awesome job shay you should be proud of yourself

25.01.2022 Some lockdown behind the scenes stuff..... It hasn't all been quiet while we've been closed. Some work has been happening here at model park in the railway section Over the weekend we needed to take 2 bags of coal out. Here is a video of Shane and Jim doing the hard work of getting the huge heavy bag of coal from truck to coal bin.

19.01.2022 ***update*** Some very sad news to report As of yesterday (March 25th 2020) Model Park for the time being has to remain closed under the governments stage 2 restrictions and closures . Once restrictions and closures have been lifted and its safe to do so we shall open again.... Until then please be safe. See you all on the flip side Take care See more

18.01.2022 Hi all. Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances with the coronavirus and the ban on gatherings of large numbers of people we have had to cancel our March open day. It is as shame but the health of our members and the public must be our greatest concern.... Keep an watch on our facebook page and we will advise when everything returns to normal and we can run again. Sorry for any inconvienience this causes and we hope to see you when we start running again hopefully in the not too distant future

13.01.2022 Sunday April 25th is our next open day for 2021 More importantly it's Anzac Day This year at Model Park all former and current members of our defence force will be granted free entry into the park. Just show the guys on the gate your proof of service its that easy. 13.01.2022 G'day all hope everyone is doing good. Just a little update to let you all know where we are at with opening ect. This coming Sunday is usually our open day. With all the new cases still circling us daily we've made the decision to not open to the public still. Our members health and safety still remains our number 1 priority. Hopefully in the not so distant future we can open for public running days and welcome you all back to enjoy our hobby with us. Until then please take care of yourself Maree

12.01.2022 Hey guys just a quick check in to see how you are all doing during these crazy uncertain times. Next Sunday August 30th should have been our next open day. Unfortunately for the safety of our members and guests we are remaining closed. Whilst this is disappointing for us im sure its disappointing for you also. Safety 1st thoe. A lot of our members are high risk for the evil that is covid19. We hope to be operational soon enough and cant wait to welcome you all back once its safe to do so. Take care and be safe put there

07.01.2022 This Sunday 23rd of February is our next open day. The Park opens at 9am rides start about 10am with the last ride departing the station at about 3pm. 04.01.2022 Hello hello As some of you would be aware, open day should be next weekend. Unfortunately with the way the world is at the moment we need to stay closed for now. This is in the best interest of not only our members but you our guests. We are missing seeing all the happy excited faces coming for a train ride but it is what it is. My family are in isolation still as we have a child whom is high risk for covid. 02.01.2022 G'day G'day As most of you would know next Sunday( November 29th) would ordinarily be our next open day. We've made the decision to call it a year and not open. Boy what a year it has been. Keep your eyes on the page for open day dates for the new year. We can't wait to have you all visit again. Next year I have some big plans in the works and can't wait to share these exciting times with you all. January 31st will be our next open day. 01.01.2022 Hey guys just popping by with an update..... model park will be re opening for the September open day(September 27th) unfortunately at this time we have decided that the railway will NOT operate for public train rides. While i understand this is disheartening for you all, we must first look after our members most whom are in the high risk category for covid. While this is unfortunate its what we must do.
