23.01.2022 This is me, Merran, all glammed up and feelin’ fancy at one of my best friends weddings earlier this year. Swipe This is also me, home from work during last months ‘circuit-breaker/mini lockdown’ making sushi to show my students at school. Bare faced, daggy clothes, messy hair, messy kitchen, but having a ball! Both of these are me. I am the same person whether I choose to present myself like either of these pics. ... I feel confident and comfortable in either versions of me. I’m not saying I feel confident all the days of my life, but I have made a conscious effort to work on this, as I know how important self-talk and your self worth can be: on health, happiness and self esteem. This is your friendly reminder: it’s ok to cut yourself some slack sometimes, we are not all meant to be perfect, no matter what your insta feed or tiktok reel shows you. But more importantly, boost yourself up more often too, because you need that as well #selfesteem #selfworth #selftalk #positivemindset #bodypositive #wellness #wellbeing #knowyourworth #positivebodyimage #knowyourworth #iammorethanmybody #healthymindset #mindset

11.01.2022 Why do we coach? Hey guys, Morgan here I was asked recently WHY I wanted to pursue health coaching and why I bother putting myself out there on this page. ... The stock standard answer is usually ‘I want to help people’ But why do I want to help people? I want to help people because years ago someone helped me, a health coach helped me in a time in my life where specialized health professionals had failed me. Someone was gentle with me Someone supported me Someone kept me accountable Someone encouraged me to take control of my own health and learn how to change my life for the better I was a teenager who was swallowed up by diet culture and spat out as a young adult with disordered eating, body dysmorphia and severe depression. I’ve spent the last decade making mistakes and learning from them, educating myself on mindset and nutrition, and practicing what I preach. So I want to help people so they don’t have to go through what the girl in those photos did before they decide to take control of their health. I want to help women cut through diet culture bullshit and find a life in which they are happy and healthy. Because at the end of the day, what’s the point if you’re not too #health #healthylifestyle #iin #iinhealthcoach #healthcoach #coaching #ed #edrecovery #wellness #moderndayethos #healthmadeeasy
