23.01.2022 I first met Danny, the awesome woman behind sustainable surf wear brand, @saltgypsy, at a mutual friends 40th birthday. She is the sweetest person and I’m a total sucker for a Kiwi accent too. In short, I think she’s pretty great. When she hired my husband, @philgallagherphoto to shoot the water component of her latest range, (the talented @_carlybrownphotographer_ shot on land), and asked me to be in it with the kids, I said yes because I wanted to help her out, and becau...se it was a collaboration with @surfaid. Surfaid is an awesome not-for-profit organisation - their mission is to improve the lives of women and children in remote areas connected to them through surfing. I was pretty shocked to read that in Indonesia, a mother dies in childbirth every three hours and 20 babies die every hour. Half of these babies are less than one month old. In remote areas, these figures are worse. $10 of each piece of swimwear sold in this range will go to Surfaid, and if you click through to their website there are one off and monthly donation links to give to as well.
22.01.2022 SURPRISE! In November, Kirst and Lachie gathered their besties in what was meant to be their wedding venue on what was meant to be their wedding day to host a combined hens and bucks day. Watch this beautiful clip from PPineapple Images Wedding Photography + Filmand witness how Lachie explained to their friends that there was actually going to be a wedding that day. ... The screams of shock and delight were amazing. Also I’ve picked this cover image because of the beautiful woman who couldn’t cope with the emotion and has a napkin over her face. Possibly my favourite little detail in the clip. Along with Lachie saying, We realised it’s all about two people, who are in love, and committing to each other. Thanks to Janda Events for letting me pretend to be a singer, so no one was suspicious when the lady with the PA joined the party.
21.01.2022 Dancing is back in Victoria! (I think... it’s a bit confusing, but basically it’s not recommended, but it’s not restricted.) Hoping my Byron Bay couples get the dance floor restrictions lifted ASAP. ... Loving reflecting on the fun we had on the dance floor in Victoria at my cousin’s wedding earlier this year. February feels like a lifetime ago! Thanks for the snaps, Sofia @enchanted_weddings.
16.01.2022 This is the way we elope. Caitlin and Tom’s nuptials in pictures. @shaneshepherdweddings @josuefilms @anitabauerhair ... @marleyhammond_makeup @the_bower_byron_bay See more
14.01.2022 Kate and Andy eloped a few months ago when they were having a little holiday at the gorgeous @_halcyonhouse - we had the ceremony in the parkland in front of the hotel, and guests sitting on their balconies cheered as they kissed. Captured by @figtreepictures. Kate was kind enough to leave me this review.... I can't recommend Cara highly enough. She is so perfect! From the moment we contacted her to getting the marriage certificates ordered she was just so brilliant and helpful. She planned the perfect vows for our last minute elopement and knew exactly the type of ceremony we wanted. Our day was perfect and Cara (and her dear friend Leah who volunteered to be one of our witnesses!) played a huge part in that. Thank you, Cara, you are a gorgeous person! #modernlovecelebrantreview
14.01.2022 So proud of my husband, @philgallagherphoto, and our new venture of finally offering his beautiful fine art prints online. (Thanks for the extra time to build this website, 2020!) https://www.philgallagher.com/... They come framed or as a print that you can arrange your own framing on, and will make any empty wall in your place sparkle! For all of my beautiful couples who have ever wanted to be a return customer to me, but didn’t want to have to get married again, I have the perfect thing for you! Please click through and see the beautiful images on offer. 10% of all sales goes to @take3forthesea to fund local ocean conservation projects, community education initiatives and more.
