19.01.2022 October is Breast Cancer Awareness month Breast awareness is important for women of all ages. You don’t need to be an expert or use a special technique to check your breasts. Take the time to get to know the normal look and feel of your breasts as part of everyday activities like showering, dressing, putting on body lotion or simply looking in the mirror. Knowing what is normal for you will help you to detect any new breast or nipple changes. Breast changes to look out for ...include: A new lump or lumpiness, especially if it's only in one breast A change in the size or shape of the breast Changes to the nipple, such as crusting, ulcer, redness or inversion Nipple discharge that occurs without squeezing A change in the skin of the breast such as redness or dimpling an unusual pain that doesn't go away. If you find a breast change that is unusual for you, please see your GP without delay.

17.01.2022 HALLS HEAD COVID VACCINATION CLINIC I popped down to the Halls Head COVID Vaccination Clinic this week to catch up with staff Sarah, Kerri and Jake. Thi...s dedicated clinic is part of the Halls Head Respiratory Clinic and was set up to make it easier for the vaccine roll out in our area. They have plenty of appointments available and it is a quick and easy process. They don't take walk ins so you do need to book (details below). I have already had my first dose so was there in a support capacity for my office manager, Vickey and her husband Brendan. Brendan can't wait to travel again when it is safe so he was quick to book in for his first COVID vaccination as soon as he was eligible! 13.01.2022 Today Mark McGowan announced that as of midnight tonight, we will no longer be in lockdown. However there are still restrictions in place until 00:01 Saturday morning. 12.01.2022 Dr Alastair Johnston hung up his stethoscope and put away his scrub top for the last time at Modern Medical Clinics last week. Before leaving, Dr Johnston wanted to convey the following message to his patients past and present.. I have been touched by the patients from the Mandurah/Peel region and will treasure the great memories I have had over these last 5 years. The COVID-19 time has been a challenge but together we will get though it. We will miss you AJ.
