24.01.2022 When wet clay is exposed to too much light it moulds.....Just like this clay. Unlike the mouldy cheese found in the fridge, this clay can be saved. 01.01.2022 Same, same but, different. Each one of these plates l have made by hand. Each plate has its own special little characteristics. It may be a millimetre smaller or bigger, different sponge lines, perhaps the odd fingerprint. Each plate has a repetitive pattern l stamped inside the rim, a free hand job, no measuring. They will be glazed the using the same colour. Each plate special and truly hand made and unique. No mass production, no slip casting just good old fashioned handma...de. These plates are still slowly drying. Eventually destined for my next shop update.
