21.01.2022 COMPETITOR INFORMATION FOR SATURDAY 28.11.2020 Entry will be via gate number 8 (Corner of New Exhibition Road & Lion Creek Road). Gates will open at 10.00am. Sc...rutineering 11.30am - 2.00pm. All scrutineering is under the usual big shed. There will be NO PASSENGERS for this weekend. Pits closed at 3pm. Driver’s briefing is at 3pm sharp. Grand parade from 4.00pm. Racing from 4.15pm. BEFORE ENTERING THE VENUE Before coming into the showgrounds venue we would appreciate all competitors who have an ANNUAL Speedway Australia licence to complete the below indemnity waiver. For those purchasing a one night pit licence OR one night racing licence you no longer need to sign the indemnity waiver as it is part of the licence application. https://www.speedwayaustralia.org/forms/SA_Indemnity.aspx Anyone who requires a one night pit licence will need to apply through Speedway Australia prior to the meeting - it is $10 for the night. https://www.speedwayaustralia.org/forms/sa_pit_licence.aspx You will NOT be allowed entry into the pit area unless licensed and have enclosed shoes on. Please see below rules about children in the pit area. 3.7.7 Children in the Pits Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted in the Pits. The exceptions are: a) Children aged 12 to 15 years who possess a Speedway Australia Licence and/or Personal Accident Insurance; and b) Children aged 5-11 years who possess a Speedway Australia licence and/or Personal Accident insurance and are actively competing in the race meeting. UPON ENTERING THE VENUE The EVA Check-In will be used for every individual entering the venue for the meeting to abide by COVID19 regulations. You can download the app and preload all of your information to provide quicker entry into the venue. You must scan the QR Code then complete all your details. If you do not wish to download the app you can use your camera setting on your phone which will open a link for you to fill out. Manual check in will be available for those without a device. Camping is available - please send the page a message for further information in regards to where you can set up. OTHER INFORMATION Please abide by the current restrictions, instructions and regulations that have been put in place with COVID19. We will not hesitate to ask you to leave the venue. Compliance with COVID safe practices is every individual's responsibility who enters the venue - if you think you cannot comply please do not enter our complex. Please observe social distancing at all times. Use the sanitiser hand stations or wash your hands regularly. We have a fully operational bar and food vendors, please follow and abide by their signs and requirements as well. 17.01.2022 As you may or may not be aware the greater Brisbane and Ipswich areas have been placed in a 3-day lockdown from 6pm tonight until 6pm Monday night at this stage.... As a result of these restrictions, we will be trying our best to adhere to the government requests for the wellbeing of our customers and staff. Therefore our showroom will be closed to the public this Monday the 11th of January. However, we will be accepting phone, email, and online orders during the day. We are working with our freight companies on Monday freight deliveries and pickups and hope this should be as normal. Hopefully, everything goes to plan and our showroom will reopen as normal on Tuesday the 12th.

15.01.2022 Modlites please note: Competitors info for McCosker Rocky Speedway below. Modlites scrutineering will be from 2.00pm and conclude at 3.30pm. All cars to go to the big green Agricultural shed down past where you will see the McCosker black trailer of ABI Meehan’s. Enter through the door half way down the side then exit where you will see orange cones. ... All cars will be scaled at scrutineering. We may scale random cars during the night. At the end of the feature race the top 5 cars and any random cars who will be told as exiting the track MUST go directly to the scrutineering shed again and be scaled. Appropriate Social Distancing must be observed at all times/ Use the hand santiser stations/ wash your hands! PIT AREA (ALL competitors, crew, officials etc) Only people who have a current Speedway Australia licence or have purchased a one day pit licence will be allowed in the pits please go Speedway Australia website and purchase online. For pit entry, only the tow vehicle driver remains in t...he car/truck, all others exit vehicle and purchase pit pass from ticket box. There will be 3 windows open - please ensure you maintain social distancing at all times. Pits are still restricted to actively involved participants and co-mingling is not permitted between areas. Therefore pits will still be closed after the end of the event. This is a Qld Health directive under the Outdoor Sports COVID Safe Industry Plan. Engine starts from 4.30pm, first event 4.50pm. 12.01.2022 ONLINE WAIVER ENHANCED We rolled out the online indemnity waiver in March at the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, and it forms one of the options for tracks to uti...lise to get people into their venues while also minimising the risk of a public liability claim. Many tracks are taking advantage of the technology which is fantastic, and we recently got some feedback which has led to a mild tweak. When someone identifies that they are a competitor, the options for them to complete now include transponder number as at least one venue intends to use the form for nomination purposes. This has also led to this information being included on the auto-generated emails, while we’ve also included the information when a crew member fills out the form too. And just a reminder that some form of waiver must be completed by everyone entering the pit area, with venues able to choose which they’d prefer to utilise. OPTION 1 SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA APP The latest update of the Speedway Australia app sees a button on the main screen dedicated to the pre- event waiver. People planning on attending any race meeting may now pre-fill the waiver from the comfort of their own home, days (even months) in advance of the next race meeting. The track will receive confirmation of this courtesy of an email. OPTION 2 QR CODE AT THE VENUE Tracks are able to print and laminate a QR code provided by Speedway Australia to be placed outside the pit gate or entry point, much like what you’ll find at your local café or McDonalds. This QR code, which may be scanned by the camera on most modern mobile phones, provides a direct link for patrons to the online waiver form, with confirmation sent directly to the venue in the same manner as the mobile phone app. OPTION 3 INDEMNITY WAIVER PADS The old-style hard copy pads are still available, with COVIDSafe regulation requiring strict protocols relating to the use of pens, and social distancing measures around the sign-in area. OPTION 4 NOT SIGNING A WAIVER This is not an option! Signing the indemnity waiver is of vital importance to venues, divisions, and participants, protecting the sport and ensuring people entering the pit area are aware of their obligations and risks. Should your venue require any hard copies of the old-style 12-person form or have any queries regarding the new alternatives to pit indemnity waivers, don’t hesitate to contact us.

These restrictions are as follows: At this point in time, under the Chief Health Officer Direction Border restrictions Direction No. 21, anyone entering Queensland from New South Wales is required to apply for a Queensland Border Declaration Pass before entering Queensland. At this point in time, anyone travelling to Queensland who has been in Victoria on or since Monday 21 December 2020, should get tested in Queensland once they reach their destination and quarantine at home or their accommodation until receiving a negative COVID-19 test result.
