23.01.2022 Hi Friends, Our monthly donation to CINI Australia, Child In Need Indiafor January was $2730. Many schools in India are still closed down due to COVID. Amongst other things, our funds are being used to pay for field workers, who make sure that poor children in slums and rural areas can continue to learn. Both through village visits and online. Education is an essential step out of poverty, so CINI have adapted their programs to reach these children at risk, to ensure they are not further disadvantaged with COVID.

15.01.2022 Hi Modus family and friends, July marks 23 months of financial support for the amazing work done by CINI Australia, Child In Need India Our donation for July was $2880, bringing the total so far to just over $64,000. Most of the funding has been used to support the IICCHAA program (Indian Initiative for Child Centered HIV/AIDS Approach). ... Pictured above is Dilip. School is still closed Dilip and many other children. His parents hope his bandana will protect him from Covid which is currently hitting India hard. The IICCHAA program is helping 286 families, with 331 children, in 162 villages. Approximately half of these children are HIV positive, the other half have a positive parent. Weve been told by CINI, that without the backing of this program its very likely many would not have survived Covid.

14.01.2022 Hi Friends, Our monthly donation to CINI Australia, Child In Need India for April was $2380.00 CINI Australias funding is currently focused on emergency response to the COVID lockdown in India. The priority is to get food to families and to keep children safe. Essential foods and soap packages are being distributed in slums, brick kilns and tea gardens. A food packing costing $20 and consisting of rice, dahl, soya and wheat, can feed families for up to a month. The lockdown in India is very intense. In some areas people are literally not allowed out of their houses so CINI's food packages are a life saver.

13.01.2022 Hi Friends, The donations we've been providing to CINI Australia, Child In Need India every month since August 2018, are very important. So whilst our new business has slowed very significantly due to the Coronavirus, weve continued with our donations; giving $1500 in March. All of our lives have changed dramatically over the last few weeks, and rather than sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves, its a good time to remember the many people far less fortunate situations. Heres a cute video of a boy learning to wash his hands properly, at a handwashing station in West Bengal.

13.01.2022 Check out this recent transformation weve just completed for the WACA, in preparation for the upcoming Womens World T20 tournament. The project consisted of adding new change rooms, new players lockers, new bathrooms, various layout alterations, mechanical ducting and loads more. 13.01.2022 This is Farah, she is 18 years old. Her father Aamil has HIV and Farah's had to be the breadwinner for the family for the last three years. Her dream was to be the first in her family to finish school. After 12 months support from CINI, their devastation is changing to hope. Aamil is getting regular treatment. He is healthier, stronger and on his way to being the breadwinner again. Farah is planning to train as a tailor to have a secure future. CINI and Modus Property will be by their side as they face the hurdles ahead, until theyre physically and financially on their feet. After donating $2700 in February, Modus Property has now donated over $50,000 to CINI Australia, Child In Need India

12.01.2022 Hi Friends, our monthly donations to CINI Australia, Child In Need India are currently being used to repair many homes damaged by Cyclone Ampham, which devastated widespread areas of Eastern India in May. Our donation of $3300 for June, has provided these new roof sheets for Balbu and his family. Balbu is a labourer earning $3 per day....when there's work available. His oldest son is a van driver, and there's very little work going since the COVID lockdown. These building repairs aren't quite what we'd expect here in Perth, but they mean a lot to this family and many others, keeping them safe as the drenching monsoon season sets in.

09.01.2022 Hi Modus family and friends! Our monthly donation to CINI Australia, Child In Need India for December was $3350. The ongoing funds get used for various programs and needs, one of which is supporting a children’s shelter in Kolkata. These playful little boys celebrated Christmas together. CINI’s staff made sure the boys had a special and happy day together. They quickly become family to each other in the shelter where they are safe, well fed and nurtured. Our funding has helped CINI maintain this essential service for children as young as 5 years, who have been abandoned or whose families who cannot care for them. They are particularly vulnerable since COVID when many other supports have ceased.

Recently amongst other things, our donations have been used to repair Cyclone Amphan damaged homes; we’re very proud to be repairing homes in two continents! Brick walls and concrete foundations have replaced the bamboo walls and dirt floors that were washed awa...y at the Bachan’s home. You can see it’s not quite the standard of the normal renos we’re privileged to be able to do day in day out in Australia. However the added security and comfort these works provide, make an even bigger difference for people badly in need.
