25.01.2022 St. Keiran’s A Reserve & B Grade Basketball Teams at the Yallourn Tournament held on the Yallourn Reserve in 1959.

24.01.2022 The end of year brings a round of AGMs and annual lectures. The CGS Director visited Warragul and District Historical Society on Monday 26th November for their ...AGM, and then presented on 'Gippsland and the Great War' on Tuesday 27th November for the Moe Historical Society End of Year Dinner. I want to thank members of both societies for a warm welcome and engaging discussions. We have attached some photos from the evening at Moe. Unfortunately we have no photos from Warragul. In early February, 2019 the CGS Director will be addressing the South Gippsland Heritage Network in Mirboo North. Prof. Erik Eklund (with thanks to Antoinette Holm for the photos)

23.01.2022 MADE IN MOE Exhibition. We are looking for people to talk to who worked in factories which were in Moe, one of those was Valentine Lee, did anyone work there, would you be happy to share some memories about your time working there. ( I am pretty sure this was the factory ) Please send a message if you would like to be interviewed. :) Thanks

19.01.2022 INFORMATION WANTED PLEASE :We are looking for information about the dates/years the Moe Butter factory stopped producing butter and bottling milk, this is for a history of the factory which is being compiled. We think bottling of milk stopped around 1986, and have some information that suggests production of butter & casein stopped around 1977/78. Please let us know if you have more information you can share with us on this part of the factory history. Thanks :)

07.01.2022 Hi, I am asking for my Mother Irene Koerper (Nee Walsh) if anyone would have any photos of the MOE RSL MARCHING GIRLS from 1959 - 1962? Many Thanks!

06.01.2022 These come from a copy of a 1975 LV Express. Things were always happening in Moe :) Did anyone go to the concert at Moe City Hall for $4 ! !

03.01.2022 Looking for a Xmas present for someone interested in local history? Graham Goulding has published a small book on the history of The Moe Dairy Co Operative. It’s an interesting read and covers the history from the opening right through to the eventual closing of the co-op. It’s full of photos & information about the operation. Priced at $29.99, you can pick up your copy from Variety Bookroom, 82 Albert Street Moe. Ph. 03 51272529. They have 6 copies left at the moment.

02.01.2022 Just a reminder about our "Made in Moe" exhibition being held at Moe Library starting on Friday September 14th, we invite everyone to come down and check it out :) The photo is of Camembert Industries, they are featured in our exhibition, their cheese factory was in Moe. The exhibition is on for a month so there is plenty of time to get down to the library to see it :)
