10.01.2022 Temporary closure from Friday 20th March To all our valued toy library members and volunteers, To eliminate the risk of spreading Covid-19 within our local community, we will be temporarily closing the toy library after this Fridays session as a precautionary measure. ... We are disappointed in this decision but believe it is the right one at this point in time. We are sincerely sorry if this causes any inconveniences, and if you have any concerns or questions please get in touch with us. If you are unable to return toys this Friday, all existing loans will be extended for the duration of our closure. Please look after our toys during their extended stay in your homes! You may use our last session to borrow as long as no one in your household has cold or flu symptoms. If you cannot make it during 9:30-10:30am, please contact us to arrange another time on Friday. We will contact you all when we re-open, hopefully again soon. Thank you for your understanding during these trying times. -Below is some advice from Toy Libraries Australia which we would appreciate you following while using our toy library:- In line with the latest health advice, anyone who has travelled overseas must self-isolate for 14 days and therefore cannot visit a toy library while in isolation. Please do not come to a toy library if you are experiencing any cold/flu-type symptoms. If a member of your family is sick, please clean and disinfect all toys before they are returned. If anyone in your house has been unwell, please let the toy library know when you return the toys so they can be isolated. Information on how to clean toys is available at www.toylibraries.org.au/cleaning-toys While you continue to borrow which we encourage you to do here are some steps recommended by health authorities to reduce your risk of coronavirus: * Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds) or clean them with an alcohol-based hand rub. * Maintain at least 1 metre distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. * Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, or shaking hands with others. * Make sure you follow good hygiene and encourage others to do the same. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, and disposing of used tissues immediately. * Stay at home if you feel unwell. Phone your GP first if you need medical attention. They will tell you what to do.
