25.01.2022 COACH PROFILE As stated in earlier posts, the Club is thrilled to announce Peter ‘Paddy’ Lietzau as our Senior Women’s coach for 2021. You don’t need to dig deep into MUSC history before you come across a Lietzau name and Paddy himself, is no stranger to coaching at our Club. Paddy, a well established C licence qualified coach has previously led girls and women sides at both a state and national level before other stints as senior men’s coach across a number of LVSL side...s. Paddy is a highly skilled coach in particular with junior sides in girls and Women’s competitions. Paddy coached our very young U13 side in 2019 and led them to a final series. After chatting with Paddy, he stated he is really looking forward to getting his players shaped and fit for the game. Paddy’s training is structured for all skill levels and his focus is to work on building confidence within his side so they can build on the basics and improve their skills. When asked why he devotes a lot of his time to coaching he said it was due to his love for the game and development. Paddy wants his Women’s side to enjoy the game and be competitive and strongly encourages anybody wanting to play, to come down to training and learn from one of the best in Women’s football there is to learn form! Pre-season training commences Thursday 21st Jan from 6.30pm sharp. Welcome back Paddy

10.01.2022 TRAINING UPDATE In light of the recent Vic Gov announcement with the impending 7 day lockdown, here are important facts for you to know; 1) Training for all ages groups will continue as normal tonight (5pm MiniRoos and Juniors & from 6.30pm senior group)... 2) No games will be taking place this Saturday 29th May. 3) At this stage, training will not be taking place on Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd of June. Stay safe.

06.01.2022 CITY RELOCATING TO THE SOUTH EAST In a big release today, Melbourne City FC have announced that they will be relocating to the South East Melbourne region. Originally, the We are Team11 bid was to be based out of Casey Fields sporting facilities however, City have struck a deal with both the City of Casey and City of Greater Dandenong to relocate all of its football and administration operations from 2021 onwards. We are really excited to see how this will allow our MUSC juniors gain better access and opportunities to interact with an A-League and W-League team and their youth programs.

03.01.2022 MEN'S PRE-SEASON TRAINING Our Men's pre-season training will return from Thursday 21st Jan. Training will commence from 6.30pm but everyone will need to be ready on the pitch by 6.15pm. Please bring along with you a water bottle, boots and runners . Women's pre-season training will be announced later this week. All new players are strongly encouraged to attend. ...
