19.01.2022 "In a World Where You Can Be Anything, BE KIND" - unknown November 13 is WORLD KINDESS DAY ... At the very heart of the Girl Guide Movement is the friendly Good Turn. A Good Turn is a volunteered kind act of good deed. Guides are encouraged to watch for things that need to be done, and then do them without being asked. What GOOD TURN will you do today to show KINDNESS?

19.01.2022 It's #Guidemonth - all will become clear by the end of the month, but there's some challenges between now and then.....and what Girl Guide doesn't love a good c...hallenge!? So Day 1 - Uniform - whether young or old(ish) - really we are all young at heart - our uniform is worn as an outward sign of the commitment we have made. Our commitment to being a sister to all Guides, our commitment to personal development and our commitment to our community. Our uniform may have changed over the years, but our values and our heart remains the same! We'd love to see pictures of your Brownie or Guide uniform - share them below! See you again tomorrow for our next challenge :D

09.01.2022 #Guidemonth Day 3 is our promise.....so much to say so little space! Our Girl Guides, no matter their age, promise to be the best version of themselves they ca...n be. To develop their beliefs, no matter what they may be and to support their community. This promise transitions across every aspect of their lives. As a Girl Guide joins a unit she says her promise to those around her to (re)affirm her commitment and to reflect on what it means to be a Girl Guide. These ceremonies are done differently across our districts, but check out the cute fairies from Moggill Girl Guides saying their promise for the first time

01.01.2022 Moggill District Girl Guides and Moggill Scout Group teamed up for a joint community service project! How did this come about? After Baarnaby and Lambert were damaged recently, we wanted the owners, Jo-Anne and Nick and their family, to know how much our community appreciates the sheep in their paddock. Guides and Scouts were asked to draw a picture, write a poem or share a picture of themselves with Baarnaby. Today, four representatives (one leader and one youth) from both groups delivered a display folder containing all the heartfelt submissions. It was our pleasure to present it to them. We were made very welcome and had a wonderful visit! Congratulations to Baarnaby and Lambert on their nuptials and new arrival Shanks.
