23.01.2022 The POWER of Photoshop is incredible. Take for example the Camera RAW feature (which also works on general images, not just RAW files). A #DubboPhotoNews reader submitted this photo of their dog with a harsh sun flare. A few sliders later (Dehaze slider playing a major part), we have a much-improved pic.

23.01.2022 Relax! Расслабьтесь! Photo taken with old manual Helios 44-2 lense made in the USSR, adapted to fit my Canon 77D. Selling this lense on StalinsBunker.com

23.01.2022 Are your precious memories looking worse for wear? Faded in frames or albums? Lost the negatives? You could A) Say goodbye to them; or B) Let us restore them.

23.01.2022 Proof of alien life here on Earth! Opening up a new alien world with macro photography! "Focus Stacking" is a way to combine multiple photos of incremental focal length to create a shot with incredible depth of field. Here's my little Spiny Leaf stick insect. She's around 4cm long in real life.

22.01.2022 Thanks to my lovely daughter Amalia for striking the perfect pose for the scene I needed to create in Photoshop for a customer. Saved me a ton of time not having to search stock photo archives for the perfect image.

22.01.2022 Keeping Photoshop skills active and improving means messing around, trying stuff, doing tutorials etc. Here are the results from a tutorial on Photoshop compositions tonight. I've turned this building into a loaf of bread, cos that's what the world needs right now.

21.01.2022 FOR SALE: Rare item, Australian dunny paper. $2 per square. Available by the roll to approved purchasers. (No deposits thank you)

20.01.2022 Love the metronomic sound of the film scanner! Got a bunch of Regular 8 film to scan from the 60s, and the content of so interesting!

20.01.2022 It's incredible the way our resilient Bega Valley residents have responded to the bushfire crisis! Humans are capable of wonderful things when working selflessly for the good of others. These photos of the terrible fires were taken from my back step. Action photos are from Sunday afternoon at the evacuation centre at the Bega Showground.... How AMAZING are our Emergency Services? So proud!

19.01.2022 Ever gone to great lengths to enter a competition, then didn't win? I wasted an hour (or two) on this image a while back, in an attempt to win a holiday to China. In light of current events, I kinda don't wanna go now. Tell us about your failed competition entries!

15.01.2022 STAY TUNED! A new project on the horizon. Here's a small clue... Now start speculating!

15.01.2022 When did you last see a pic of yourself as a 4 year old? What memories did it bring back? #memories #photos #digitising #photoscanning

14.01.2022 I added a video to a @YouTube playlist https://t.co/UAq5TpHV7Z New Moon

13.01.2022 Client: "Can you take the stick out of the photo" Secateurs would've been easier, but we managed!

13.01.2022 It was our pleasure to outfit the local Anglican parish with some funky new promo gear. Check them out! Feather flag, indoor banners and business cards.

12.01.2022 Photoshop Phavourite! I enjoyed making this composite image using my sexy hand as the model, and my loquat tree out the back. Add the moon as a glowing fruit and you have something slightly fantastical. I wonder what it taste like!? Should I peel it first? The pic was created for a client for their social media graphics each Full Moon during 2021.

11.01.2022 DROP BOX! A package from a distant land had arrived! Have you guessed what our little project is yet?

11.01.2022 Thursday's newspaper coming along nicely, despite the October long weekend throwing a spanner in the works. Here's a sneak peek!

09.01.2022 How do you deal with panic? Luckily, I wasn't the driver when I took this photo... I'm also not afraid of spiders. Equally lucky that my learner-driver teenage son also didn't panic. How would you react?

08.01.2022 Most weeks after burning my eyeballs out for hours in front of the screen laying out the Dubbo Photo News, I manage to make a page or two I can admire. I don't get long to work on each page, so it's a fine balance between skill, speed and efficiency. Here's my favourite page from the current edition. The boof head bison is from another photo, so try to appreciate my efforts in etching the hairy beast and overlaying him on this other photo.

05.01.2022 Whipped up a poster for the Bega District Brass Band! Check it out, book your tickets online!

05.01.2022 What else does Moggy Media get up to? Well, we're directly involved in the weekly production of the Dubbo Photo News. What a brilliant free paper - one that's been running for over 14 years! Check out the latest issue online (or pick one up if you're out that way!) https://issuu.com/panscott/docs/dpn20191031wtbnnpon__1_

04.01.2022 Just a few of the treasures unpacked from that little box (see previous post). What's hiding in your family archive?

02.01.2022 Got some precious old photos that are worse for wear? We can help! Check the BEFORE/AFTER results from this project: Unknown subjects at an unknown location. Photo from my grandfather's archive.

02.01.2022 DEEP BREATH... and LAUNCH! Just a little fun side hustle. Hoping some Soviet/Russian enthusiasts appreciate the stuff we're uncovering, buying and shipping to Australia. Want to see something else in our inventory? https://stalinsbunker.com/
