24.01.2022 Our beautiful little Moke was stolen yesterday. Its very recognisable - if anyone sees it, its being driven by a criminal...please contact us or the police. Rego: 074 YFH. Update: The police notified us that our Moke was seen April 4 in South Brisbane (Boronia Heights).

18.01.2022 Hi there all!!! Looks like this round up - like all the others have been - was a blast!!! I am in contact with Dave Margison who is co-editor (I think thats hi...s title) of the moke club of the Uk (and the rest of the world!!) He is always on the hunt for moke stories and pictures. Anyone like to give him a write up please? Send to [email protected] He would love it!! Having said that!!! Id like some info too!! I can pinch stuff from the page for the MOAs Tracks but would like a bit of a write up from someone there if thats ok? Thanks heap Rhonda.

17.01.2022 There were several Mokes at todays Devonport Motor Show, and a chance to catch up with a few previous Round Up attendees plus meet some Tasmanian Mokers . A massive show with hundreds of vehicles on display. Congratulations to Devonport Motor Show and Rotary Club of Devonport North for the fantastic organisation.

17.01.2022 We are still doing all we can to make Round Up 2020 happen, and we are very close to making a decision one way or the other. We still have a couple of glitches to iron out to ensure that we can run the event safely and without backlash. To help those people out who are still on the fence about coming along if we do run it, Austin Tourist Park (Moke Central) have advised that they have waived any requirement for deposits or progress payments on all accommodation at their park ...due to the current uncertainty of whether the event goes ahead, along with the possibility that some may not be able to attend when the time comes due to COVID restrictions. As you would imagine, unlike past years, they still have plenty of accommodation available at this stage, but its advisable not to leave it until the last minute to ensure that you get the size/comfort level/budget that you want or need. Those wanting to book, please phone the park directly on (02) 6766-2280 and they will be more than happy to help you out. Thanks to all for your patience during this uncertain period. We will not keep you waiting much longer for a decision on whether or not Round Up 2020 will happen.

16.01.2022 Today it’s hailing in Kootingal - luckily we missed it during the Moke Roundup Tamworth. Thank you Kootingal Hotel for your hospitality.

16.01.2022 If Austin Tourist Park has your email address on file, you will see all the photos in their next newsletter. If they don't have it then head to https://www.austintouristpark.com.au/ to add your details. (You will find the sign up form at the bottom of the page). Thanks again Austin #austintouristpark #mokeroundup

15.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE - PLEASE READ!!! With the announcement of further relaxing of the COVID restrictions today, it is looking very much like the 2020 Tamowrth Moke Round Up may well be going ahead! We are of course mindful that things can still change unbelievably quickly in the current climate, but we are certainly proceeding with the planning optimistically and on the assumption that the event will happen.... Naturally, we will still need to make some concessions to the "new normal" and at a minimum, the following will apply: 1. We will only be going ahead with the event if we are able to do so fully within the letter of the law at the time (should go without saying, but were saying it anyway). That said, IF WE CAN LEGALLY RUN THE EVENT AT THE TIME, IT WILL BE GOING AHEAD!! 2. We will expect all attendees to respect whatever hygiene, social distancing and other measures which may be recommended at the time, especially during the times when large numbers are congregating such as morning musters, lunches etc. 3. We are in the process of organising merchandise at present, and will have details up on our web site as soon as this is finalised and will be accepting orders from that point on. We will however be delaying placing the orders with our suppliers as long as possible to minimise the risk of people being stuck with merch for an event that was called off at the last minute. We will not be asking for payment until we need to either, but there will be a deadline set (probably October 1st) where we need to place orders and unfortunately once we are past that deadline, all orders will be non-refundable in the unfortunate event that we have to cancel at the last minute. 4. We will also not be asking for registration fee until later than usual. We are currently checking with public liability insurer regarding their policy if event gets called off, but hopeful at this stage that at least the majority of the registration fee would be refundable if it was called off at the last minute. We will clarify this before asking anyone for any money. IN THE MEANTIME, PLEASE REGISTER BY CLICKING ON THE BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE IF YOU THINK THERE IS A CHANCE YOU MAY BE ATTENDING! Registering does not mean that you are obliged to attend, but if you think there is a fair chance that you will be there, it does assist us greatly with the organisation if we have some idea of the numbers. Registration also means that you will receive email newsletters (starting soon) with updates so that you dont have to worry about missing update posts on here. Apologies for the long winded post, but hopefully that answers some of the questions people have at the moment. Please feel free to post below or PM us if you have any other concerns we havent covered.

07.01.2022 For those who are wondering, we do still plan to run the Round Up as scheduled on 21-25 October 2020, provided of course that the COVID-19 restrictions permit it by then. We will of course need restrictions to be lifted in time to do a few test runs and organise a few last minute details before the event, but at the moment we are pushing ahead with arrangements on the assumption that all will be good by then. We have done enough Round Ups that we can pull it together at the e...nd fairly quickly in need (you might say this isnt our first rodeo ;) ) Please feel free to register for the event if you hope to be there. We will not be asking for any money or any firm commitment until we are reasonably sure that the event will be permitted to go ahead, and we will certainly only be proceeding if the restrictions at the time allow us to. So you have nothing to lose by registering and it is very helpful to us if we have some indication of the number of people likely to attend. Keep an eye on this page, the Moke Forum and our website www.mokeroundup.com.au for updates. Fingers crossed, they will be positive ones.

02.01.2022 On this, the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, we - like many of you paused to reflect at 11am. We wanted to post something today that would ...do justice to their memory both on the battlefield and when they returned home. Just now we found this ... https://www.abc.net.au//world-war-one-what-if-it-/10477874? ... which we think says "Lest we Forget" in ways a picture never could. Your thoughts are appreciated. See more
