18.01.2022 Friday sport at Westbury Primary School - what a delightful afternoon we had playing a really nice game of football & netball against some inspirational kids. Well done to Jaxon for giving netball a good crack, to Maddison for having a great attitude about playing football, and to Addison for finding lots of success on the football field! A special thank you to a delightful young man from Westbury who was playing netball and was being really supportive and understanding of Jaxon- we all really appreciated it.

15.01.2022 TL;DR: Thank you Thank you SO SO SO SO much to Liz Ertler, Jenny Lloyd, Petra Mansfield, Debbie Holmberg, Kristy Byard, Rose, Roy, and chef a_la_reem on Instagram (who have been supporting us from Brisbane), and all the staff-thank you everyone for your help and support of our students fundraiser today, the girls were overwhelmed with the response. Thank you also to the team from Collective Ed. & JCP Empowering Youth. Thank you everyone who sent in donations and ch...eques who were not able to attend. And thank you to the grade 4/5/6s for supporting your peers and ensuring it was a success. We love celebrating others successes. It was great to see students trying a cuisine they were not familiar with, many students surprised that they enjoyed it so much! As well as experiencing aspects from a culture that many were not familiar with We will update you with a figure when we finish counting all the 5c coins!! And will update you on the charity the money is going towards at that time too. It was so great to see such a range of people supporting the great cause/our students. Date: Thursday, September 10th Cost: $2 to dress up in rainbow clothes... $2 for a plate of Lebanese treats to try (falafel, hummus, flatbread) Time: 12:15 -1:00 pm Please come and show your support to the girls & join our school community as we immerse ourselves in the Lebanese culture for an afternoon. All members of the community welcome! Donations will be passed on to a trustworthy charity to help those directly affected by the explosion.
