24.01.2022 A great article on the ABC webpage today sharing the amazing program offered through our Environment Centre. Lisa Ford, the clinical psychologist, will be running a session on resilient kids for all our families here at Molesworth in November. More details next term but mark 18th November in your diary. Thanks to Peter, Trish and the Grade 3/4 class for their contribution on the day the ABC visited. https://www.abc.net.au//raising-resilient-kids-to/12629006
22.01.2022 Today students in grade 4 to grade 6 have bought home information about the student wellbeing survey for this year. The survey will provide valuable data on the wellbeing of our students post-COVID and identify key issues that may need addressing (eg worries; connectedness to school). The video shares ways schools use the information gathered from the survey to support the wellbeing of all students.... https://youtu.be/BuMmZZg8Yqg

12.01.2022 FINGER KNITTING BY THE SRC: This term people from different classes are finger knitting to show awareness of Epilepsy with different shades of purple. Our whole school is enjoying it very much and will be participating until 11 September.... We need to come up with ideas on how to showcase our finger knitting and we could win prizes for our school. Finger knitting may sound hard, but it is actually really easy. Here is a video to help you! https://epilepsytasmania.org.au/fingerknitting-register-ev/ Facts About Epilepsy: 1. Epiepsy is a disorder which nerve cells in the brain are disturbed, causing seizures. 2. This condition can't be cured, but treatment helps lots.

08.01.2022 A huge thank you to the Molesworth Primary School Association and Fundraising Committee for the potatoes we had for lunch today. The comments from all the students were a testament to how absolutely delicious they were. Everyone made short work of them, including the staff. Also a massive thank you to Oscar, his mother Kylie and grandfather Wayne for the kind donation of the potatoes. :-)
