18.01.2022 A Cs s State Government Direction: Closure of Caravan Parks Hi everyone,... Please see advice just received from the Victorian State Government. INFORMATION FOR CARAVAN PARK AND CAMPING GROUND OWNERS AND OPERATORS ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) At the direction of the Chief Health Officer Victoria campsites, caravan parks and camping grounds will now be closed to visitors. This will be effective from 11.59pm (local time) 25 March 2020. The only people permitted to remain will be: People who already have the caravan park registered as their primary place of residence; and People staying in caravan parks as interim accommodation where their primary residence is not available (including those of no fixed address and people placed in emergency housing by DHHS). These actions follow further restrictions on domestic and international travel, with all non-essential travel banned. Compliance with this directive is enforceable under the section 203 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and penalties apply. It is important to reduce the risk of infection and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Victorian community. Compliance with new rules Inspections will occur after this date to ensure that campsites, caravan parks and camping grounds are compliant. Inspections will be carried out by DELWP and Parks Victoria staff and Local Government authorised officers over the coming weeks. If caravan parks and camping grounds operators fail to comply following this, the Victoria Police will be contacted. Persons wishing to retrieve belongings from closed caravan parks and camping grounds will need to contact the land manager/operator who will stage retrieval to ensure compliance with Mass Gathering Directions and social distancing. Signage should be displayed at the road entrances and on main buildings indicating that the park or camping ground is closed. We appreciate your support with implementing these new arrangements. 18.01.2022 MOLESWORTH RECREATION RESERVE CLOSURE FROM 5:00PM THE 20TH MARCH 2020 DUE TO THE Coronavirus (COVID-19) Due to the ongoing issues regarding the Coronavirus the decision has been made by the majority of the Molesworth Recreation Reserve Committee of Management that the park will be closed to Annual site holders and casual campers as from 5:00pm Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.... This decision has not been taken lightly, but we believe this to be the right decision in our current circumstances. Some people may see this as overkill and we have plenty of space but we must all remember that we all share the same ablutions block and that the virus can stay on surfaces for an extended period of time. The caretakers will remain in residence at the park for security reasons, annuals who require access to their vans to remove possessions and/or food stuffs are required to make prior arrangements with the Caretakers on 03 5797 6278, This is a decision by the committee, as the caretakers have nothing to do with this decision any abuse directed towards them will not be tolerated. We sincerely hope we have the backing and understanding from our park family in this decision. Molesworth Recreation Reserve Committee of Management

12.01.2022 Its sad that people are not getting the message, it is pretty loud and clear, stay home, isolate and this virus will be beaten, go out into the community the virus spreads and many more friends, family and loved ones suffer and probably succumb to this insidious attack on humanity. Stay home, stay safe.

10.01.2022 Its sad when people steal the very things that are essential to saving theirs and other peoples lives and properties and even more so in a time of high fire danger. These volunteers work tirelessly to first of all raise the funds to get this equipment and give up their time and efforts to keep everyone safe. SHARE THE HELL OUT OF THIS POST

Molesworth Easter Bazaar & Clearing Sale Inc. 42nd Charity Sale... The Easter Bazaar and Clearing Sale will be held again in 2019 Easter Saturday 20th April 2019 The Molesworth Easter Bazaar is an important event for the Community, as it not only brings the locals together to work together, but it finances all aspects of the community, saving us the prospect of having Chook raffles etc. Many thousands have been given to the Molesworth and Whanregarwen Fire Brigades; more than $20,000 has been given for the maintenance of the local Church; the Community Hall has been completely renovated and refurbished, the Rail Trail Park has had finance from the Bazaar and Auction and donations to Yea and Alexandra facilities have been made. 09.01.2022 What a great Australia Day weekend, park full of campers enjoying the wonderful weather, we had it all, hot/warm days, cool nights, a nice drop of overnight rain to freshen everything up and beautiful sunsets. We thank the campers for their thoughtfulness towards other campers and adhering to the park rules. We also thank the campers for their patience as we had and still have issues with one phase of our power supply and had to jerry rig power for the shower block hot water... service. Our apologies, always seems to happen at the most inappropriate times, that the camp kitchen and power sites were without power and only one of the electric BBQs was working. The issue will be rectified this week, our electrician and Ausnet power have to be onsite to do the repairs. Once again a big thank you to all our campers for their understanding.

02.01.2022 GOODBYE MOLESWORTH EASTER BAZAAR It is with great sadness that we have to inform our camper family and friends that after 40+ years the Molesworth Easter Bazaar is no longer, last year was the last one. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible and a special thank you to Les Ridd for 40+ years of organising the Bazaar and auction.
