23.01.2022 Meet our 2 Chef Hat Awarded Head Chef, Alberto Occhipinti! Alberto grew up cooking with his Grandmother in Sicily, Italy. He completed his culinary studies at ...one of the most prestigious culinary institutes in Italy, the ALMA International School of Italian Cuisine. He gained experience working in a variety of Italian restaurants and after a few years decided to move to Melbourne. His first Australian restaurant experience was at Bistro Vue, a one Chef Hat French restaurant which is a part of the Vue de Monde Company. Alberto then moved to McLaren Vale and found his second family at Serafino. His cooking is simple, not over complicated with flavour being the soul of every dish. We're grateful to have him leading the Serafino kitchen team

17.01.2022 Not only was the 2020 Australian Briscola Championship a huge success, we are pleased to announce the donations we have made from the fundraising at the event. Together we raised a total of $4000 - with $2000 directly donated to the Kangaroo Island CFS and $2000 donated to the Variety Kids Appeal.
