25.01.2022 It can often surprise new owners how long the process of finding a puppy can take. Responsible, high-quality breeders tend to have longer wait lists, space litt...ers out to manage animal welfare, and only have the number of breeding dogs they can give the right care to. And of course, matings and pregnancies still need to be a success! This can be a little disheartening for owners who are ready for a puppy now, and unfortunately, a lot of irresponsible breeders take advantage of this desperation, and breed constantly or without proper welfare standards to meet this demand. This can often mean owners are unintentionally supporting unethical breeders, and may encounter problems with their puppy down the track. That's why we believe the best puppies are worth the wait. Dogs can be part of the family for 10+ years, and while it may seem like a long wait now, taking a few extra months to get the right dog can be absolutely worth it in the long run. #rightpaw #startoffright #puppytip

08.01.2022 Puppies still storing up energy to cause havoc when they get up on their feet. All got their first worming today and just popped off to sleep again. Still growing fast having doubled their birth weight with smallest being just over 300g and biggest just under 500g.

03.01.2022 Mr Otto visited the team at Tropical Vet Services yesterday for his second vaccinaton .... he thoroughly enjoyed cuddles with all the girls!! Vaccination not so much but he is all pumped for puppy preschool on Monday

01.01.2022 It’s been an eventful week here this week with emergency hospital visit for our son & rush trip to Vet’s for Mumma Ally. A few sleepless nights but all is now well and Ally and pups are all doing great. Puppies are up and about and playing and have just started on solids which I’m sure will be much of a relief for Ally - finishing off the leftovers is always her favourite thing to do.
