24.01.2022 We’ve made some very careful choices with this book. Black Rainbow near Bairnsdale have done a wonderful job of printing it on recycled paper with eco friendly inks using solar power power to print it. It’s been a pleasure to work with a company whose values align with ours.

13.01.2022 Molly and the Waiting World is the first in a series of childrens books that celebrates the connection of children to Nature. When Molly is hurt by the rejection of a friend at school she finds that the ants, butterflies and birds are all too willing to show her the magic of the waiting world which is always there to support, nuture, and love her. Written by published poet Vivienne Benton and illustrator husband John Benton, who are both Environmental Scientists, the magic Molly's eye opening journey lifts the heart and fills the soul.

09.01.2022 Molly and the Waiting World has been receiving reviews from adult and teen readers and response has been fantastic. All who have read it have really liked it. Of the 8 recent readers 2 boys aged 14 loved it, a girl about to turn 14 admired the moral of the story, 2 teachers really enjoyed it, a magazine editor like it but queried some of the language, a librarian thought it would be popular, and a lady in her 70s was in tears when she read it. I’m looking for more readers between the ages of 10-14, especially children who have been bullied at school. I would especially like to know what feelings the poem evoked. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, with your first name and age attached.

08.01.2022 Molly and the Waiting World has just been submitted to a children’s book publisher. Will advise of the outcome.

02.01.2022 We’re in the process of doing our end of financial year stock taking to ascertain how many copies of Molly and the Waiting World have sold in the six months since it was launched. With the East Gippsland fires and now COVID 19 sales are right down. Ah well, back to the drawing board.
