24.01.2022 Hi Friends, It's time once again to show the world how South Australia can lead by example. In these circumstances, we rise up to the challenge and work together to ensure the safety of ourselves and each other. With the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the following restrictions have been reintroduced by the SA government that will take effect in our Cellar Door from tomorrow:... Maximum booking size 10 people One person per 4 square metres Consumption of drink & food must be seated We have also introduced a check-in app to support contact tracing measures. Bookings are essential (book here: https://bit.ly/2FhkHWU). If you have an existing booking of more than 10 people, we will be in contact to discuss your options and make a plan. If you have any questions, just reach out. We're here to help, and are simply grateful that we can remain open, as we continue to remain cautious. Cheers from the Mollydooker Team

20.01.2022 Let's not beat around the bush fellow South Aussies, another lockdown means more empties in the recycling bin. Sarah's motto is "life's too short to drink bad wine", and we're hoping this lockdown is too. Head to our website to grab some of our bold, juicy wines delivered straight to your door, lets all do this together!

20.01.2022 We looove our partners, check out @the.foxbriar’s post about our Blue Eyed Boy... Full-bodied and concentrated with flavor, this deep rich wine effuses such beautiful floral violet notes as you bring the glass to your nose. Followed with a touch of clove, blueberry and vanilla creaminess, akin to a spiced blueberry crumble topped with ice cream. The first sip doesn't disappoint, though at first the strong alcohol taste may seem too much, the vanilla and fruit follow behind in such a commanding way to appease your palate. A well balanced union of flavors dance on your tongue, plum and smoked paprika finishing with a light licorice tanic dryness leaving you ready for your next sip. Swing by to try or jump online to grab a bottle today!

16.01.2022 The first signs of our 2021 fruit are beginning to show... soon our viticulture team will be able to predict how much fruit each vineyard will produce by counting the buds. In the next month we’ll see the vines grow from neat rows to luscious canopy that shields the grapes from the summer heat

14.01.2022 At Mollydooker, our incredible wines are the result of many people working together to create something that makes people go ‘Wow’! With that in mind, we’d love to introduce you to our new Assistant Winemaker Alana! After working as a real estate agent, Alana decided to switch gears and begin studying a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Adelaide full time. Already a big fan of Mollydooker Wines, she joined the Cellar Door team in a part- time role in 2...016 whilst continuing her studies. Showing great leadership skills, Alana was thrilled at the opportunity to move from customer service into the Vintage team to complete her 4th year Uni placement at Mollydooker for the 2020 vintage. Then when the 2021 vintage rolled in and after completing her degree, Alana took on the Vintage Assistant Winemaker role. After doing such an amazing job she has been was offered the permanent role as an Assistant Winemaker. With almost 5 years on the Mollydooker team, she is very much a part of our family! We asked Alana to share a few of her favourite things about Mollydooker The team have always been wonderful and made me feel accepted, always encouraging my learning and development. Learning the Mollydooker processes, the science of their winemaking, and all my time involved has been fascinating. At the end of the day, I just love the wine. all of it! Well, we love having you, Alana! Congratulations and well deserved. #mollydooker #mollydookerwines #mollyclub #fleurieupeninsula #mclarenvale #seesouthaustralia #gosouthgolocal #blueeyedboy #gigglepot #australianwine #velvetglove #australianwinelovers

11.01.2022 Cheers originated from the old French word chiere which meant 'face' or ‘head’. By the 18th century, it meant ‘gladness’, and we used as a way of expressing encouragement. Today, Cheers, is a symbolic way of toasting to wish good cheer and good health to those around us. So, gather round, raise a toast with Mollydooker to happiness, good health and a long life ahead. #mollydooker #mollydookerwines #mollyclub #fleurieupeninsula #mclarenvale #seesouthaustralia #gosouthgolocal #blueeyedboy #gigglepot #australianwine #velvetglove #australianwinelovers

10.01.2022 Until next Wednesday the 28th of October, we will be donating half of all Cellar Door and online wine sales to the @napavalleycf to help the communities affected by the California wildfires. Link in bio to shop, read a message from Sarah below: After the massive Australian bushfires earlier this year, I never anticipated that in the same year it would happen to another wine community, the Napa & Sonoma Counties of California. Our hearts are breaking for those who have been af...fected by the current wildfires as we continue to see the devastating images of destruction and loss that have and continue to occur. In the past few weeks, Jenny, our wonderful team member based in Napa, has been on the ground doing what she can to help her community and support those around her. We are very proud of her for doing so, which has made us feel very connected to these communities. We are constantly inspired by the care and selflessness of others, which got us thinkinghow can we help? Earlier this year, you all helped us in our time of need to raise $61,000 for World Wildlife Fund and SA Bushfire Appeal. Now, it’s our chance to help these communities recover. Whilst the wildfires may be almost contained, we know the damage will take many years and resources to rebuild. So, for the next week, until the 28th of October, we will donate half of all Mollydooker wine sales to The Napa Valley Community Foundation, which is providing aid for immediate needs, direct cash assistance and shelter to those displaced. The Foundation is also providing long-term services such as counselling, food access and insurance navigation. If you would like to donate direct to The Napa Valley Community Foundation, head to their website. To support the affected wineries, please buy any Napa or Sonoma region wine where you can. Together, we can do our part to help. I look forward to you sipping it forward. Image credit: Ken Porter
