25.01.2022 So so true, it’s hard to juggle things at the moment, and fitting in self care seems to fall to often to the bottom of the pile. Your wellbeing is priority, it’s can’t wait, nor should it. By Looking after yourself you are more able to focus and achieve what you need to.

25.01.2022 World mental health day

23.01.2022 This time I’m going to take back control, I’m not going to let this lockdown wear me down as much. I’m not going to fight each day with the schooling ( A lesson learned from last time) instead we will flow more easily with homeschooling.... If I feel sad, mad, angry or pissed off, I’m going to voice it, write it down. Release it! Let it go and then replace with love. I’m going to take control of my own mental health, being proactive in getting help rather than reactive. I’m going to eat well and sleep well. I’m going to breathe, I’m going to sit and breathe. I am my project. I don’t need to prove anything or achieve anything other than wellbeing of my family and I. Life is made up of tiny moments. Choose how you spend yours.

23.01.2022 Invest in yourself, each day, invest a little.

22.01.2022 I don’t know about you, but my brain is a bit scrambled this week! I might spend some time detangling this weekend.

22.01.2022 Have a blooming wonderful week

21.01.2022 Happy Friday ! Have a beautiful weekend!

21.01.2022 We all feel like we are in a muddy pond sometimes! Remember you are a lotus!

17.01.2022 Take time this week to notice the good in everyday, to notice the beauty in the weather, or the fresh breeze on your face. Notice the colours in nature. Remember there is a little good in everything. Even the weed milk thistle is a powerful natural remedy.

16.01.2022 Self Care Sunday What is self care to you? maybe it’s a long bath, a walk in nature, getting your hair cut, meditation, healthy eating. There are so many ways which we can take 5 minutes and have some self care. The other day I got ask these questions. These are the best self care questions I have ever been asked.... So now I’m asking you. Who and what energises you at work and at home? How do you refuel when you are running on empty? Take 5 minutes and think about these x

15.01.2022 The early morning moments. Such a feeling. Such a beautiful walk.

15.01.2022 Happy Friday! Remember moments like this! I may go back to it.

15.01.2022 Happy Wattle Day. Spring is here.! A Wattle Poem... The bush was grey A week to-day (Olive-green and brown and grey); But now the spring has come this way, With blossoms for the wattle. It seems to be A fairy tree;It dances to a melody, And sings a little song to me (The graceful, swaying wattle). See how it weaves Its feathery sheaves! Before the wind a maze it weaves, A misty whirl of powdery leaves (The dainty, curtseying wattle)! Its boughs uplift An elfin gift; A spray of yellow, downy drift, Through which the sunbeams shower and sift Their gold-dust o’er the wattle. The bush was grey A week to-day (Olive-green and brown and grey); But now its sunny all the way, For, oh! the spring has come to stay, With blossom for the wattle! By Veronica Mason

15.01.2022 There is no humanity if we stand back and watch people suffer. Whatever you do, no matter how small just do something. Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people.

14.01.2022 I haven’t posted for a while. Things are a little busy here! I have stated studying again this semester. I’m taking my Youth Work Cert and even though we should be on campus everything is online for the moment. It a bit of a balancing act, but it will all work out. I can’t wait to combine my skills and my love for the great outdoors together with youth work!

12.01.2022 Winter Solstice blessings As the earth grows colder, the winds blow faster, the fire dwindles smaller,... and the rains fall harder, let the light of the sun find its way home." See more

09.01.2022 So I guess I’m back to walking the local track in my PJ top! Because that’s what you do in lockdown! It’s definitely been a shock, and a feeling of sadness to be back in this situation. A loss of the freedom and normality that we were starting to get back. But we have done it before, and we can do it again. ... Let’s all do our bit. Stay safe, stay healthy, remember it’s all a series of moments. Keep mindful.

09.01.2022 Enjoy your weekend!

07.01.2022 Remember the little moments, have a wonderful weekend.

06.01.2022 I am grateful for rest. I have been at home unwell and then resting after a minor hospital procedure. I have rested, I have finished books and started and finished puzzles, I have sat in silence gazing out of the window, I have sipped mindfully herbal tea, I have listened to audible books and I have slept.... I am grateful for the opportunity to rest and revive. I know now that we need to do this more, find these peaceful moments in the everyday, not just went we are sick or recovering.

02.01.2022 Don’t forget to smile! You can see a smile in each other’s eyes. It’s beautiful to see and reassuring in a time when everyday human connections are limited. Seeing everyone wearing masks can be slightly intimidating, especially for children. They can’t see your mouth, they can’t hear you say hi very well under the mask. ... So don’t look away, don’t look down, instead SMILE! Give everyone your biggest smile and they will see it, they will see it in your eyes and they too will smile! Thank to Greenhills Neighbourhood House for the mask.

02.01.2022 I looked out of my window this morning and saw the sun breaking through the morning mist. It called me, I needed to be in it, to feel the fresh cool air and see the mother nature’s mystical display. Embrace the moment!
