20.01.2022 Cake 2 from last weeks festivities This cake nearly didn’t happen... since having my baby I have been getting A LOT of migraines and last week was a struggle! I was lacking a bit of inspiration for this cake, then I remembered I purchased a @sweetsticksau edible rainbow paint pallet.... Chloe’s love of painting inspired me to let her have a go at painting her very own cake! Let’s be honest this was either going to be pure genius or a complete show Luckily it wasn’t the latter & the result - a one of the kind painted cake featuring her love of Inside featured a Dutch Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream with Salted Caramel Chocolate Crisp Pearls. Finished with cake topper by @somethingforcake So tell me - would you be brave enough to let your kids paint their own cake??

08.01.2022 Time to share one of my greatest bakes - perfectly timed, great colour, and did I mention super delicious Introducing Paige Kathryn who joined us earth side on Sunday 21st June weighing 3.45kg (7 pounds, 6 ounces) or as my family would say 7 packs of butter We are all so smitten with our newest family member & enjoying all the love & cuddles. It has been so beautiful watching Chloe bond with her & Paige lights up every time her big sister speaks ... For now we will just be over here savouring every moment as a family of 4

04.01.2022 It’s time to move to a new phase in my life... slowing down. This is definitely something that doesn’t come easy for me! But luckily Rona helped with the preparation You may have noticed that my products are missing in your favourite cafes & your kids are wondering where their favourite decorated cookies are ... It is time for me to hang up the apron for a while as I take some time away & be ready for #2 to arrive When we found out that we were expecting our second child it was my goal to have a little extended time off to just be & enjoy these precious moments with my family. I’d be lying if I said I’m not missing baking/business already But for now it’s time to focus my energy on finishing off this growing bun in my oven & having a few Moments to Savour of my own. Don’t worry I will return at some stage in the new year! In the meantime you can expect a bit of baby spam, farm life & hopefully some baking inspo to get you through! Also special mention to Georgia Paige Photography for taking some maternity photos a couple weeks ago of my growing family also little fun fact this tree was where Jimmy & I married just over 6 years ago

04.01.2022 A week of celebrations, 3 parties, 3 cakes - it was no easy feat Safe to say Chloe celebrated turning 5 in style! The inspiration for her cakes was everything & First up was this beauty! Dutch Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream & freeze dried Strawberries finished with Rainbow buttercream, fairy floss, sprinkles & cake topper from @ohandco.design ... I was scared I had peaked too early when Chloe didn’t want to cut this cake cause she wanted it for her ‘real’ birthday Boy the pressure was on for the next 2 cakes! If you follow my stories you would have seen all 3 from the week! So tell me which was your favourite ??
