In modern society we spend a lot of time in forward flexion (hunched over a desk, driving, on our phone) and traditional ab exercises reinforce this position ... The core movements we choose to include in our programs are based around creating a stable centre for movement to occur around. Training your core to be strong and stable while resisting rotation, flexion and extension under load. This creates a strong foundation for lifting, allowing us to produce more force while helping to keep our back strong and safe! Heres just a few of the core exercises we use!
