18.01.2022 Hi everyone. Seminar location has been finalised at Spine Care, Salisbury. At this point the maximum we will take is 14 so if you are interested please let me know. I will post the link up on Chiro Classifieds in a couple days so whoever has received this on their feed or an email or message from us gets the first opportunity to sign up. After that we will open it up to the wider chiro community. 16.01.2022 A new database of Pregnancy Chiropractors in Australia. Dear colleagues. In an effort to increase public awareness and the capacity to receive Chiropractic care while pregnant, a new Database has been created. It's purpose is to expand chiropractic into a population that deserve our help while better directing them to chiropractors who have taken relevant training in pregnancy care. While the site is only 4 days old we will be building the practitioner base over the next mo...nth with practitioners who wish to be listed on the site. www.pregnancychiropractorsaustralia.com.au If you are interested and want to know more, here is how it works. The only way to be listed on this site is to of completed training specifically related to pregnancy. This may be the Momentum Pregnancy Adjusting semina, ICPA certification, the Webster technique, Spinning Babies certification, or even hold certification as a doula or midwife. (We are also open to other trainings) The main thing is that we want to know that those we put on the site are really excited to serve pregnant mums and know a little more than the average chiro in relation to pregnancy. It will be a great way for other chiro's to find out who to refer to in certain areas but mainly for the public to build an awareness of what is out there and the important role chiropractors play in helping pregnant mum’s. Our goal is to expand the public opinion and awareness around the benefits of chiropractic for this specific population. We are not referencing one training over the other, it is about really making chiropractic more available to the public and giving the public an easy way to find chiro's who know what they are doing. Facebook is an incredible source of referrals but it is nice when people have a specific site they can always direct people too. If you are interested in being listed on this site you can fill out your details on the I am a chiropractor page of the site. we have dropped the annual fee of $100 down to $50 while we build the reputation of the site and allow people to determine if it is the right fit for them and then a yearly fee of $100 will be billed in decemeber for the following year to remain on the site. This is less than half of other sites offering similar services and it is australian specific. We are very excited about expanding chiropractic into this population base within Australia. We are not looking to make bazillions off this site, we just want to cover costs and help promote Pregnancy Chiropractic through public awareness and advertising material if the funds will allow it. Our intent is to add further resources to the page so it becomes even more of a resource for the public. If you have any questions please feel free to get back in touch. and if you would like to provide constructive criticism on the site that would be welcome also, we want to make it as simple as possible for the user and also represent chiropractic professionally.
