23.01.2022 Happy International Day of People with Disability. This is a day that aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions. I am lucky enough to see these achievements and contributions on a daily basis. This morning I went to see Matthew who I have been working with this year. One of his big passions is cooking, but he needs a lot of assistance with all of the fiddly fine motor aspects. This Kitchen Workstation is something that I suggested for him to make him more independent with cooking. He was able to peel, grate and chop a carrot. All with one hand! What an achievement and a step towards achieving his goal.
