18.01.2022 Avalon Laverty drive-through pathology will be operating a COVID-19 testing service from Avalon Bowling Club Car Park, Avalon Parade, Avalon beach. It will be ...opening from Friday 18 December 8am to 4pm 7 days and is wheelchair accessible, no age restrictions. Anyone who has attended the venues of concern is considered a close contact and should get tested and isolate for 14 days even if they receive a negative result. 06.01.2022 We are writing to inform our patients that the current Covid cluster has had a big impact on our doctor staffing. We have multiple doctors who work at other locations outside the Northern Beaches (and some outside of Sydney), which means they currently cannot work in Mona Vale as their other positions will be restricted if they work on the Northern Beaches. We have doctors away with 14 day quarantine due to being in a location (eg Bunnings) that is caught in a trace back si...tuation (even though they are negative). So we write to apologise that at the current time, our ability to offer our normal services and provide medical care to the local community is severely hampered. Many of our local doctors are working extra days and shifts to help cover, but this is still not enough to provide the service we want to offer. We hope to be back to normal in the New Year. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
