22.01.2022 Hi all, as of 20 minutes ago the Mona Castle Hotel is closed & no longer run by Gary Clough. Thank you all for your support over the last 15 years it was great to know all our wonderful patrons & know friends. Hope to see you all again soon.

22.01.2022 The benefits of being the small local pub is that it's business as usual! Footy starts tonight and it'll be on all our big screens! Come down and help us keep the title of one of the best footy pubs in Melbourne. The beer and the food is cheaper than at the 'G as well! It's also not too late to join our footy tipping comp, just get in before the bounce tonight.

21.01.2022 The Mona is a safe space. Here's what's going on in the pub when we consider Covid-19. Our cleaning and hygiene practices are always to a high standard but we're making sure all of our surfaces are wiped down regularly and staff are taking extra care in hand washing. Our glass washers and dishwashers are of the highest quality in sanitising everything as required. We have a good supply of sanitising wipes which we're using as required. And if you believe the rumours that the Coronavirus doesn't like alcohol then rest assured we're well stocked and there's plenty of toilet paper.

20.01.2022 Hi all, as we all know we are still closed due to the limited numbers allowed in our hotel. At this stage we are looking at opening on the 18/7/2020 when we hope we can have bar service & TAB. Stay safe & hopefully the bar & restaurant will be up & running by then. Cheers to all our wonderful patrons.

19.01.2022 In line with the government's recent regulations regarding COVID-19 we have now closed our doors. We will reopen as soon as is deemed best for public safety, stay tuned for more information. We will miss our local pub community and hopes everyone stays safe and healthy.

06.01.2022 Great news! Due to the recent relaxing of government restriction the Mona will be open from Wednesday next week! As we ease our way out of restrictions we will have slightly reduced hours. Opening at 3pm Wed-Fri and 11am Saturday and 3pm Sunday. We're so excited to see everyone again!
