25.01.2022 We're stoked our after-school program, in collaboration with Graham Polly Farmer Foundation in Newman, has been recognised as a finalist in this year's Australian Mining Prospect Awards within the Indigenous Engagement category. https://prospectawards.com.au/prospect-awards-indigenous-e/ #Newman #community #Monadelphous

24.01.2022 Nights in Newman are way more fun when they’re neon! On Saturday, in partnership with the Shire of East Pilbara, our friendly volunteers guided locals through several ‘glowtastic’ zones at a free community event. We love being able to get involved in such fun events within the communities we have the pleasure of calling home!

24.01.2022 Volunteering is important to us, and our people! Meet Cameron our Senior Contracts Engineer and volunteer fire fighter. It was just over two years ago when I joined Monadelphous, which was around the same time I signed up to the Kalamunda Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade. When the warmer seasons roll in, the big fires can continue over several days, resulting in shift times often being ten or twelve hours long. I’m very fortunate that my manager is very supportive allowing me t...o balance my work around those commitments and attend some of the bigger incidents we’ve had. Teamwork is something that I feel correlates to both my volunteering and my job. I really enjoy working with and meeting different people. I’m always looking for my next challenge which I think many of my colleagues have in common.#nationalvolunteerweek

22.01.2022 Last week we supported the second Monadelphous CQUni Yallarm Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Camp held in Gladstone. Hosted by CQUniversity Australia and Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre, the week focused on inspiring local Indigenous students to learn more about STEM fields and STEM career pathways. Monadelphous is proud to have a strong, longstanding presence in the Gladstone region and we’re committed to giving back to the communities in which we work, particularly through STEM education. Together, we’re developing a bright future for younger generations.

22.01.2022 How fast can you put on your PPE? Today we’re at the Bunbury Youth Shift Festival at Koombana Bay. This free event will run from 3pm until sunset and is jam-packed with fun activities, games and workshops.... Come find us and join our PPE race ready, set, go!

17.01.2022 From our family to yours. As Christmas is just around the corner our teams have been rallying to collect toys and books for The Smith Family, who provide support to disadvantaged families during the often challenging festive period. Special shout out goes to our team on site in Karratha, who have worked together to donate quite a pile of gifts, enough to make Santa jealous!

17.01.2022 This week we celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements. This is an excellent opportunity for us to come together to reflect on, recognise and show respect toward Australia's First Nations Peoples. #NAIDOC2020

16.01.2022 A few weeks back, we announced that we’d partnered with the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation to support their Follow the Dream program in the south west of WA. Here’s a snippet of what the program is all about.

12.01.2022 Weighing in at 350 tonnes, the boom of the world’s largest iron ore reclaimer has now been installed on thyssenkrupp’s stockyard machines package at BHP Western Australia’s $US3.6 billion South Flank Project. Using two cranes, the 70-metre-long and 12-metre-wide boom of the reclaimer was successfully lifted and installed by our project team as a part of thyssenkrupp’s EPC project delivery. Check out some of the action below.

11.01.2022 National Reconciliation Week is an important time for all Australians to learn more about our shared history, our diverse cultures and our collective achievements. At Monadelphous, this week we proudly reflect on our reconciliation journey to date, and continue our commitment to promoting reconciliation in our workplaces. #NRW2021 #morethanaword

05.01.2022 Today is White Ribbon Day, something that is very important to us here at Monadelphous. In Newman the day was commemorated with the grand opening of the new purple bench, which we helped to supply and install in collaboration with BHP, Newman Women’s Shelter, Shire of East Pilbara, Newman Police and Women's Council for Domestic & Family Violence Services - WA. 04.01.2022 We acknowledge the dedication and work of our service men and women, and pay our respects to those who lost their lives. Lest we forget. #RemembranceDay

03.01.2022 Is pink the new red? This morning we came together to raise awareness around breast cancer and the impact it can have on so many people’s lives. Click the link for more information on how you can show your support https://www.wearitpink.org/

01.01.2022 Meet Senior Welding Specialist Loree, one of our nominees for CME’s Women in Resources Awards. Loree joined Monadelphous in 2012 and was the first female to graduate from Gold Coast TAFE's boilermaking apprenticeship course in it's 30-year history. "Being one of only a handful of females in the boilermaker/welder field was challenging, but it gave me the motivation to prove to the industry that females can do anything they put their minds to." Congratulations Loree, and the best of luck!

01.01.2022 Last week we welcomed our WA based grads to the annual Graduate Forum at Nedlands Yacht Club. This years’ theme was ‘Developing Skills for the Future’ with a strong focus on personal and professional development. The fun-filled 2-day event involved team building activities, interactive development discussions and presentations from our Senior Leaders who shared their stories and support for the grads to drive their careers and make the Mono’s experience their own.
