24.01.2022 Went there with Wally McCloud, Freddie Von Minns, Raff Man and Craig Telfer many moons ago. Those little merry go rounds with the sprung horses where mad.

22.01.2022 What ever happened to all the old equipment? Does anyone know? Would be good to see if anyone has any around the Riverland. How cool would it be to make a new one and locate it with the big big orange. Bring it all back to life. One can dream.

11.01.2022 Great to see how busy the activity at the Monash Playground has been in these school holidays. Nice to see the legacy of Grant Telfer continuing.

10.01.2022 Still so fondly remembered by so many South Aussies (not just Adelaideans) and interstaters. It was estimated it attracted 200-300,000 visitors to the Riverland each year !!! And it was FREE to enter and open 24/7.

06.01.2022 Melanie Harrington and her kids Logan, Kallie and Nate with their Pa (Grant Telfer) at the Grant Park (old Monash Playground) display at the Berri Visitor Inf...ormation Centre. Grant is Mels grandfather and great grandfather of Logan Nate and Kallie. This display was open for month of May but due to its popularity, has been extended til mid June (possibly longer).

04.01.2022 Do you think we should build a statue to honour our Local Legend Grant Telfer who built this (old) Monash Playground ... for his amazing contribution to our community and to the fun-loving lives of everyone who visited it?

02.01.2022 Our Monash community is keen to raise the funds for this Grant Telfer statue as soon as possible so we have time to get the statue ordered and made in time for our Centenary year next year. It’s not far off. 01.01.2022 Our little town of MONASH will be 100 in 2021 and we are organising Centenary events. We are also hoping to install a statue of the builder of the Old Monash Playground/Grant Park, Grant Telfer.
