25.01.2022 As a team we are often asked why is our bike recumbent? Our bike is in a recumbent position as opposed to an normal upright position, as it decreases the frontal area of our bike. We want to minimise the frontal area as this helps to significantly reduce the aerodynamic drag force preventing our bike from reaching high speeds.
