25.01.2022 Monash Toy Libraries is temporarily closing all of our branches as of Tuesday,17 March 2020. The safety and well-being of our members, volunteers and the community is our priority, and this decision has been made as a precaution to support the containment of COVID-19. We will not announce a reopening date at this time, but we will provide updates via email, on our website and social media.... We are thinking of our members and the Monash community, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Stay safe.

The little things are making a huge difference to Victorians right now and we are so happy to be contributing in a positive way. 22.01.2022 Update on toy library closure - June 2020 Monash Toy Libraries still remains closed, as toy libraries in Victoria are not allowed to open. When restrictions are changed we will work out a safe reopening timetable with the City of Monash. This may result in some changes to our opening days and times. We will share more as soon as we can. Two (2) new toy kitchens are at the libraries ready to inspire local small and big kids to be the next Master Chefs, like Gemma and her mum, our hard working Vice President, Heather. Active child-led play IS THE SUPERFOOD of the play diet and should be a part of every childs development. But play is not only for kids, its great for mums and dads too - its an important source for relaxation, stimulation and connection. Just look how great Gemma and Heather look! #monashtoylibrary

03.01.2022 STEM toys are one of the toy categories that we are focusing on recently. Kids love them and these kind of toys help cultivate logical thinking as well as problem solving. We currently have 4 sets of coding-related toys from, which costs about $300 each if you buy. Borrow them for a couple of weeks and let your kids get the most out of it.
