If you are OK to attend your appointment, please be aware that we have the following prevention measures in place: - Partners or support people are unable to attend your appoin...tment. We understand that this may be disappointing, but it’s required to comply with the government’s social distancing rules. - Please sanitise your hands before your appointment. Sanitiser is available at reception. - We encourage you to bring your own water bottle. We have temporarily removed water dispensers from our waiting rooms. - We will routinely be taking your temperature before your scan or blood test. We understand that many of our patients may find this intrusive, but we ask for your patience as Monash Ultrasound for Women takes its duty of care to our patients and staff very seriously. We thank you in advance for assisting our Monash Ultrasound for Women team during this time. 15.01.2022 Today on Australasian Sonographer Day we’re paying tribute to our amazing sonographers and the vital work they do in monitoring the health and wellbeing of our patients and their babies. October is also Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month and sadly we know that not all patients across the world have equal access to state-of-the-art scanning technology. For this reason, we recently joined forces with Rotary Australia to make a special delivery to a hospital in Papua New Guinea.... An ultrasound machine from one of our clinics in Melbourne has made a more than 3000-kilometre journey to arrive in its new home at the Port Moresby General Hospital. A small and dedicated group of local doctors at the hospital delivers more than 15,000 babies on a tight budget every year and we’re thrilled to hear they are delighted with our donation and already putting it to good use. Happy Sonographer Day!
