Almost 3 hours unpicking mostly spend trying to make out the invisible thread on lace appliques. 1 hour reshape steam and pin then its time for lunch break. 1 hour sewing then to restore hooks and eyes and all the buttons, did 5 buttons when threads kept getting tangled. Time to stop... to be continued tomorrow

Usually if the gape is not too obvious, then taking up at the shoulder seam should fix the issue. However in some cases, this cant be done so this is another way to do it.... 06.01.2022 Shortening straps. Just to give you an idea of its cost. Appointment at 9am pin and started work immediately. Unpicking took almost 30 mins as it was very tightly sewn... Its original pleats on 1side werent neat - pin and top stitch to ensure it is. Sewing a concealed seam takes expert handling. All done 130 pm. See more
