25.01.2022 Sorry but our phones are still out, still only one line in, been promised they would be fixed between now and end of month they might have meant end of year. I have been told that it's because of the NBN, if so why did they stop working when the area had a power outage? I guess the answer is I don't know, I can't remember!

21.01.2022 A very big thank you to all the drivers that have been letting our vehicles and others out at the road works, this really shows the Australian spirit.

21.01.2022 Our phones are still out, we only have one line and this is very busy, if we don't answer it is because we are on another call. Our fax line was to be fixed last week and still nothing. We use Ignite for our land lines and they are very helpful but the actual lines are owned by Telstra and it would seem they don't care. How can anyone run a business without telephones, Telstra mobiles don't work in Monegeetta, crap coverage only 50k from Melbourne CBD.

20.01.2022 Roundabout news Well the roundabout is fully open for now including the road to Riddells Creek and the Chintin road. It has not had the final seal due to the cold weather and the hotmix needing a warmer temperature to seal properly, so this will be done when the weather warms up. Now you can access our business by turning into Chintin road and then doing a hard right turn and follow it around to our gate. With Covid-19 still being active please stay home if unwell and keep at least 1.5 metres away from our staff.

20.01.2022 Sorry but our supply of Bulka bags of firewood has dried up, I had been promised a load for the last 4 weeks and I tried again on Monday and was told that it had run out. If I can get a supply over summer I will stock up for next winter.

19.01.2022 AFL Grand Final We will be closed on Friday 23rd October, it's a public holiday, (yes I don't know why either) and open as usual on Saturday 24th October, Grand Final Day (it's not a public holiday). I would prefer to have the Grand Final Day off and not the day before, but i'm not a politician.

16.01.2022 Roundabout update. I have been informed that if the weather is good they are hoping to finish the curb and channel this week, next week it is hoped to get some of the seal done on the east side of the roundabout, this will lead to traffic flow on both sides but with work still in progress traffic control will still be in place but hopefully without lights, and remember to slow down, all lives matter.

15.01.2022 We have just been informed that the intersection of Chintin Road and Lancefield is closed and all traffic is diverted past the Monegeetta store. If you are heading south then turn left just past Chintin road and if heading north then turn right before Chintin road. Hopefully this will not be for too long.

09.01.2022 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year After such a busy and confronting year we will be having an extra week of for holidays this Christmas. We are closing at 2.30 pm on Tuesday 22nd December and returning to work on Monday 11th January 2021. If you need materials for your Christmas project please get in early as there is a shortage of quite a few products and most suppliers are also having a longer break this year. Stay safe and enjoy time with family and friends.

08.01.2022 We are currently having troubles with our phone network, out of the four lines we only have one working, this means that we can not receive any faxes. Our phone provider Ignite has reported the fault with Telstra and we have been informed it should be back to normal this week. With the eftpos running on the nbn we do not have any problems with receiving payments and our mobiles can work on wifi so if you can't get through on 54285156 you can try Don on 0408 384 202 or Rod on 0409 285 156. 06.01.2022 Roundabout update I have been told that starting next week there will be traffic lights operating with all traffic using the new west side of the roundabout, this will give the construction company the ability to construct the east side without delays and a safe work area for their crew. This will be in operation for at least three weeks, so please allow extra time to get through Monegeetta. Please if you see our truck waiting to get out at the lights let it out, he has to do it 20 times a day.

05.01.2022 With the new covid 19 Victorian restrictions, as hardware stores were considered essential in the last stage 4 lock down, we will remain open until otherwise notified. Stay safe, stick to the rules and we all will survive. Don't forget your mask.

04.01.2022 Phone update, Our service provider has got all calls to 54285156 to divert to 54285186 the one line we have that still works. The fax line 5428 5144 is booked to be worked on tomorrow and the other two lines on Thursday, hopefully we will have all sorted soon, please be patient with only one line it is mostly engaged.
