14.01.2022 IMPORTANT CONTACT TRACING INFO... To all Mongrel Squad members As most of you may be aware - in accordance with WA state government regulations, as of 5 December, public venues require all patrons to register their name and contact details (either phone number or email). This happened for a brief time when Craigie LC reopened after the restrictions, during which reception staff would manually enter details of patrons upon entry. ... Craigie has advised me that the quickest and easiest way is to to install the free Safe WA app on your phone (it took me about 45 seconds to set up an account after installing it). You can then scan the bar code which will be displayed at points all around the centre. If you do not do this, I will need to write your name and number manually and submit the list to the office following every session. This is now required by all venue hirers. I strongly urge every swimmer to download the app before our session on Monday (7 December) to ensure that as a squad, we’re doing the right thing in the event that any future COVID-19 contact tracing is required. 12.01.2022 Hi All. Haven't posted on here for a while, but hope all is well :) I received an email from Craigie Leisure Centre, advising that they will be re-opening in a limited capacity (casual use only) from 26 May. Although facility bookings will not be reinstated from that date, hopefully this will happen as the government eases restrictions in subsequent phases. Will keep everyone up to date - in the meantime, you can at least go and have a swim in less than 2 weeks' time :)

Craigie LC are holding off reinstating their facility bookings for a little longer, rather than rushing back into swim squads etc at the start of the current Phase 3 restriction easing.
