So here are 5 quick things you can do to make a good impression. 1. The entry. I’ve always said you can only make a first impression once. Remove spider webs, old pots with dead plants, sweep and shake out the mat. ... 2. The smell, open windows and doors for a few minutes for fresh air and light a beautiful scented candle 3. Clutter, a general tidy up, clear the sink, pack toys away, clean up social areas 4. Bathroom, clean toilet and basins, restock paper, clean the mirror, have a fresh hand towel and nice smelling liquid soap 5. Pets, remove hair from furniture and floors. And dispose of any uneaten food in bowls. Change the kitty litter. Just one more, have soft music playing. See more
20.01.2022 Easycraft is my best friend, it replaces traditional plasterboard, is moisture resistant, comes pre-primed, for a seamless connection it has a hidden joining system, goes up in a flash, it’s a quick fix to cover existing finishes or any imperfections,and it adds style to any room. I just love it. Use it even on the ceiling or half way along a hall to add interest.
19.01.2022 Finally the fence is finished. 20 posts took my hubby and son 4 days to hand make. Painted 3 x 400 pickets painted 2 x 2000 nail holes filled 2 x entrance gates... 2 x double drive way gates. Phew glad that’s done. Such a great result. See more

14.01.2022 As you know, my speciality is styling for the best results at a minimum cost. The best styling is when it’s FREE!! I absolutely love fresh flowers but it can become costly. Nature provides great greenery. Sometimes you find the best things on the side of the road. Tip.... always carry secateurs in the car, you never know what you may find growing on your travels.

06.01.2022 Mixing old with the new is my favourite way of styling. This vanity proves how amazing a discarded piece of furniture can become the centre piece and talking point of a room. It also saves you loads of cash. In the 40 years I have been building or renovating not once have I ever bought a vanity from a shop. For me it also adds loads of fun searching and seeing a transformation.
01.01.2022 I’m often asked how many cushions on the bed. If you asked my husband the answer would be one each. Just about every night for the last 40 years he has said why do we have to have all these cushions? My answer is always the same, they look good, there staying there, get used to it. Haha I’d love to hear your stories, what does your partner say? and how many pillows you do. I do 9.. the one we sleep on, a euro, the pillow that matches the comforter, the pillows that match the doona and one smack bang in the middle with a karate chop.
