22.01.2022 My congregation at Mass today :( I wonder if people will forgive the church for this. In a moment of crisis when we should be turning to God we have slammed our doors in everyone's face and said they can not come in.

11.01.2022 Bit of code out of my android app. Been trying to add some extra calendar features, and sooner or later that means computing the date for easter. The code is Java. It is harder part of what I do to share. Over the last 2 weeks I might have done 2000 lines of code, but I can't see anyone being interested in looking at it.

03.01.2022 Finished another large rosary for a habit. I don't normally like chain rosaries because with daily wear they break. These should not, as wire is wrapped around itself. It made them a lot harder to make though. The beads are obsidian and I used stainless chain and wire.

01.01.2022 When I was last at our Queensland monastery, Marian Valley, I took a dozen 360 photos. Here is one showing the Vietnamese Chapel. To create the 360 photo I take 16 with my wide angle lens with the camera on a special tripod mount to avoid parallax. Then the 16 photos are stitched into one on a computer using special software. I wanted to get this done because i am supposed to go take some more of some other churches soon. Unfortunately Facebook is broken right now so can't share it as a 360 photo here.
