22.01.2022 Whilst the cast + crew winged their way to the West coast, our intrepid driver Steve took to the Nullabor with the Pete the Sheep set onboard. 2500 kilometres later the team was reunited at Esperance Civic Centre, where the team made the most of the spectacular region! Now onto to Albany Entertainment Centre... PS. Steve has travelled many-a-mile for Monkey Baa... he's been the hands on the wheel for our past 3 tours around this big brown land!!

21.01.2022 Can you guess where the ‘Pete the Sheep’ team are this weekend?

20.01.2022 Notes from the road... Big Bob (aka Joe Dinn) posted yesterday from Merredin. "It sounds so obvious, but one thing I didn’t even think about when signing on to this job was how glorious it would be to be taken on a backstage tour of all these wonderful theatres dotted around our gorgeous country. Each with its own history, story, character and standing in the community, bringing the arts to its own. It’s been such a treat and I'm loving every second. ".... Cummins Theatre thank you for having us in your stunning venue!

19.01.2022 Windmill Theatre Co is bringing their thought-provoking piece 'Amphibian' to us for 2 shows on June 15th. The story of contrasting, clashing classmates... two outsiders both looking to belong. On the surface, Chloe and Hassan appear to have nothing in common, but through circumstance, they forge an unlikely connection; building an understanding of each other’s backgrounds and motivations. As their personal histories are revealed, Chloe hears the incredible first-hand account... of an Afghan boy who’s traveled alone, thousands of kilometres across land and sea, for a better life. Aimed at young audiences 12+ years, the play addresses the global refugee crisis, detention, and international human rights obligations. 'Amphibian' will stimulate ideas, conversations, and action towards a more compassionate future. 11.01.2022 Moora! 3950 kilometres from home base, Monkey Baa loves being in the regions and it's more than fitting that we have visited the gorgeous WA sheep town with 'Pete the Sheep'. Performing to a full house at Moora Performing Arts Centre was an absolute delight...
