24.01.2022 We are looking for a rare gem to join our quirky bunch here at Kies Family Wines Quite often people tell us how lucky we are to work in the beautiful Barossa ...Valley and have a bit of banter with people over a few wines all day! We absolutely agree there is no better place to work in the world! Our cellar door is quite often at capacity so we are looking for someone to help us to do the extraordinary! Our mission statement is: Striving always to be the friendliest and the best cellar door sales in the Barossa and we need help to make sure that we can keep up the level of service. So we are looking for a rare gem to join our team: Essential: - A passion for wine: An understanding of wine and the wine making process is great; we are looking for a wine geek to join our family of wine geeks. - Banter: You must have a good sense of humour. The ability to make people laugh is a bonus! - A small business mindset: One day you might be serving a cellar door full of people, and the next you might be preparing export orders, or helping in the cafe. This is a bit of everything type situation. - The want to be flat out all day: We don’t have spare time to stand around, the place can be packed from 9am so you should be comfortable with large groups and find it easy to operate under pressure. We love the atmosphere so we are looking for someone who does too! We can't wait to welcome you all! ... ---------------- A few changes to our business due to the new COVID restrictions: Reservations are essential Due to the fact that our capacities have significantly reduced, we are completely booked out for today. The last thing we want is for our customers to drive an hour to visit only for us not to be able to provide a table due to reaching capacity. We have created an excellent online booking system, where you can book your table and you will be sent an email to confirm. Simple, easy and we can’t wait to see you soon! Social distancing measures All our team members have completed COVID-19 Hospitality Best Practise Training through our industry association, and social distancing and hygiene practises have been implemented in line with government guidelines. --------------------

04.01.2022 From black outs to lock downs and today the threat of fire, these last few weeks have had it all. The good news? We are back open tomorrow and we would love to see you in our nice air conditioned space for our morning sitting (11:30am - 1:30pm) as we are closed for a private function from 1:30pm onwards. Stay safe out there guys - look fingers crossed 2021 is a little less eventful!
