21.01.2022 Thank you to our Monmia families for your understanding for the cancellation of our Open morning and evening today. As per the restrictions below, we ask that all Monmia families drop and pick up their children at the gates. We also ask that you please wear masks when you come to the gates. Continue to practise physical distancing. We are restricting entry to the school and classrooms at the moment. If you need to come into the office, please wear your masks and there is... a limit of two people at a time. Please see general restrictions below: New restrictions to be implemented from 6:00pm tonight They include: Private gatherings at home will be limited to five people per day Public gatherings will be limited to 30 people Face masks will need to be worn indoors, unless an exemption applies Mr Merlino said schools and workplaces remain open, and Victorians who live in Greater Melbourne can continue to travel to regional Victoria. However, those restrictions will still apply so if you're heading to a regional household from Melbourne, they must not have more than five visitors in the house that day, and you'll still need to wear a face mask. Mr Merlino said the restrictions were a "responsible step" to take to curb the outbreak.

17.01.2022 You are invited to attend our Open Morning and Evening on Tuesday 25 May. Please see your invitation for details.

16.01.2022 Good afternoon Monmia Community, After an amazing first week of all students returning to onsite learning, we would like to reconnect with all our community. Thank you to those families who joined us for last week’s assembly. We had some technical difficulties with feedback which we have addressed and will not happen again. Please follow the information below to join in the assembly tomorrow. Student of the Week presentations will happen at assembly. The school leaders wi...ll read the students’ names, the students will stand up in their classrooms and their teachers will present them with the Student of the Week certificate. We will continue to play the Australian Anthem and School Song however students will not be singing it as per Department Guidelines. I am sure we are all relieved to hear Premier Daniel Andrews announce some ease to the restrictions. This is very exciting news and due to all Victorians complying to wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing and continuing to restrict large gatherings. As Victorians we should all be proud of our combined efforts to get to this positive stage. 01.01.2022 Good evening Monmia Families, Highpoint Shopping Centre has been identified as a Tier 1 exposure site. Anyone who has been to the shopping centre on 20 May between 5-8pm has been advised to have a COVID test immediately and stay isolated until further notice. Due to these circumstances and to keep our Monmia community safe, I have decided regrettably that we will have to postpone our Open Morning and Evening. The risk is too great for our staff, students and families. We ...will keep you informed as to when it is safe to consider rescheduling this event. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in keeping everyone safe. Lorraine Warm Regards, Lorraine Bell Principal
