11.01.2022 In Japanese, ‘shizuku’ means drip. The original glaze melts at 1200-1300C and then runs down porcelain vessels. When they cool down, they harden, creating the effect of drips that are about to fall from the edge of the vessels. The gradated blue tones of the glaze, which leave part of the immaculate white Arita-yaki porcelain naked, give this cup an elegant, fresh effect.
