As a kid in a classical music school, young Monsieur Diop was making mixtapes for homework. As a young man, Monsieur Diop spent four years sailing around the Atlantic Ocean, from Africa, to the Carribean, from South America to the US, relentlessly gathering records. He settled his crates in Berlin. The intensive techno scene blended with his exotic selections to create his unique mix style. His Debut as a DJ happened 10 years ago simultaneously in a little jazz cellar and the notorious Sisyphos, Techno club where he was taking his chance on small and sweaty alternative dance floors. There is a galaxy to cross between Calypso and Techno, a path through the wilderness of tribal sounds, jazz, soul and highlife funk; a trail through digital enlightenments and ecstatic movements, a voyage that you will have to get ready to take!
