14.01.2022 I wanted to share a photo Kylie West from Central West NSW shared with @abclandline over the weekend reminding us of Australias extreme climate. As a fair whack of the country has shivered through the past few days Monsoon Client Ian Smith and his staff @edinburghpark hasn't forgotten that only 8 short months ago he was using his Monsoon Hard Hose Irrigator to pump brackish water into bushland in order to protect his property as fire threatened in Wingham NSW. Ian along with many other Monsoon clients had to resort to these measures to do what needed to be done to save their farms from the fires. 13.01.2022 At Monsoon we are lucky that our business takes us into rural Australia and the lovely towns that are the hub of these rural communities. After suffering drought, Bushfires & the border closures due to Covid 19 The NSW/QLD border town of Mungindi has overnight suffered yet another devastating blow losing their essential businesses in a fire that tore through the Supermarket, Butchershop and other shops in the block. 12.01.2022 The NSW Bush Fire Danger Period normally begins on 1st of October and continues through until the 31st of March. As some of us know too well it was this time last year that the first significant spike in Bush Fire activity occurred in Northern NSW with more then 50 fires burning across NSW alone at this time. Due to the effect of the dry conditions caused by drought Australia endured a catastrophic fire season. With most regions seeing more rainfall this year conditions will hopefully be more favourable, However it is always important to Plan & Prepare and the NSW Rural Fire Service have been working with Farmers to create the 'Farm Fire Plan' to help manage fire risks on your land. 06.01.2022 Our staff have just completed the installation of a 420 metre mainline running from a Rovatti 2 stage centrifugal pump powered by a Kohler 4 cylinder diesel engine with an inbuilt 200 litre fuel tank and 12v battery to pump water to our customers Monsoon Irriland 900/250 Hose Reel Irrigator. This was a local job on the Mid North Coast of NSW made even better by very satisfied customers. @ Toormina
