23.01.2022 Accidentally picked up your phone again mid study sesh and still scrolling? We get you Try using the following pointers to keep procrastination at bay and work on that productivity! Be Honest: Admit you've been putting off the task... Find the right time to do it: When are you most alert and energised? Use those cues to schedule work in at those time, or make a set time to study and stick to it Work in stages: Its better to do productive bits and pieces of a task than attempt unproductively for a long period. Start small! Focus on the positive: What are all the good things that'll happen if you stop procrastinating and plan a reward for finishing? That netflix binge will be creepin closer and closer if you get it done... Get help: Talk with your tutors or peers if you need help with something in the unit and check in with each other! Set goals and reminders: Have an aim for how much you want to do each day, or an end goal date. Write it in your phone notes, make a sign or set a calendar reminder to have it handy Just do it: Do the hard tasks first and cross them off your list. If you remember something you've been avoiding get to it ASAP Thanks to Christopher Jenkin, Psychologist and Senior Coordinator of Counselling and Mental Health Programs for Monash University Health Services for these resources!

16.01.2022 #SaveOurCTP When Monash proposed this staff transition strategy, it was specified that it would be ‘developed to ensure a transparent, fair and considered approach’, MONSU Caulfield was disappointed to find this statement did not align with proposals put forward by the University, which instead impact upon the CTP in an unfair and targeted nature. MONSU Caulfield has written to the Vice-Chancellor and the Dean of Arts in opposition of disestablishment of the Centre of Theatr...e and Performance (CPT) at Monash. MONSU Caulfield endorses the Save Our CTP campaign and strongly encourage you to get involved and take action to help save such as nurturing and valued community within Monash University. 15.01.2022 THE EARTH EDITION OUT NOW Check it out!! In the meantime, some words from the Esperanto Magazine editors: Obviously we don't know how to time our releases. Our first two, coinciding with the introduction and subsequent reintroduction of lockdown. Now our third one, the same time as a freak windstorm. A bit ironic given the theme of this edition if you ask us. ... If the last few months have taught us anything, it’s that we don’t need to travel to see the world. What resides within these pages are stories that span borders experiences and memories from Italy, India, Russia, Australia. From tales of finding oneself, lessons from studying abroad, to life after death; our Earth edition pays homage to it all a love letter to the planet we call home. Hunker down, grab your dog and get cosy. Let's get worldly. Read it now at: https://bit.ly/33Oh7M6

13.01.2022 The final edition of the year from our lovely editors at Esperanto Magazine, have a read, send them some love and get connected ... In the meantime, some words from the editors: You've been waiting for it for a while and here it is: our final edition for 2020. Before we crack into it though, we wanted to give a massive shout out to our amazingly talented writers and artists, as well as to our sponsors and advertisers. In a year filled with the unexpected, you've given us some...thing to look forward to. On that note, our final edition is not just a tribute to the power of connection, but also a tribute to you. You’ve touched us with your stories, whispered your most intimate and innermost secrets, transcribed your passions and fears onto paper, and breathed life into our empty pages. In turn, we hope you’ll find solace in our collection of tales, from finding love on the sticky floor of a club bathroom, breaking up with toxic friends, to shamelessly fangirling over Connell Waldron’s chain. So, for one final time... Let's get connected. READ NOW: https://bit.ly/391rkcu
