06.01.2022 Monterry Pty Ltd is a small swimwear and dancewear manufacturer, which retails in Adelaide as Jem Designs. It has strong business in women’s swimwear, dance apparel and made-to-order swimwear. NOW with COVID 19 Monterry has had to really think outside the box. Having had to stand down most of the staff it was a huge challenge to find something to keep us going and the possibility of getting at least some of the girls back to work.... The first item we produced was a washable reusable FACE COVER, this has gone really well and has helped get 3 girls back to work we have just designed headwear, mainly for nurses but really anyone that has to wear a face mask all day the headwear and headband has buttons on the side to take the pain away from the ears. We are also forward thinking and have put a reusable, washable veggie bag on our list of new items. We also have reusable nappies on our forward thinking list and continuing to try and find any other items that are needed at this time.
