16.01.2022 March COVID Update To our lovely clients - thank you all so much for your patience and understanding of our ever-changing COVID protocols. While we are all so excited to see the end of masks, we still kindly ask clients to wear a mask inside our small consultation rooms with your pet and the vet. It is impossible for us to socially distance in this small space while you and the vet or nurse are both holding your cat or dog. For this reason we are still having only one a...dult owner per pet in the room and not having multiple clients waiting in our reception area at the one time. This area can get very busy, so we still ask you to call on arrival and wait in your car until the team is ready to call you in. We also still ask that if you are ill, please let us know and we can reschedule your appointment or figure out an alternative. Thank you all so much for your continued patience and compliance. We appreciate your understanding at this time.

16.01.2022 (ANOTHER) COVID UPDATE Thank you to all our clients for your co-operation and understanding of our current protocols during this unusual time. As many of you are already aware, Vets continue to provide an essential service to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, we remain open with some increased safety measures in place.... To abide by stage 3 restrictions and social distancing guidelines, we have returned to contactless service. If your pet has an appointment, please continue to remain in your vehicle and phone the clinic upon arrival. When the Vet is ready to see your pet, we will ask you to bring your pet to the front door for collection by one of our nurses, then ask you to return to your car. Your appointment will be conducted over the phone with the Vet, and when we are finished, we will ask you to come and collect your pet. Please continue to pre-order all products such as food and medication and prepay over the phone too so we can simply hand this to you at the front door. As we all must do at the moment, please ensure you are wearing a mask when visiting the clinic. Thank you and take care.

14.01.2022 Montrose Veterinary Clinic Coronavirus Update We want to reassure our clients that under Stage 4 restrictions we are, thankfully, still open to provide necessary care to your pets. Under the regulations you are able to travel beyond 5km distance in order to seek medical care, including veterinary. If required, we will confirm your appointment via text or email so you have proof of a valid reason to be leaving home. Our clinic has implemented many safety precautions in li...ne with government regulations and industry recommendations. we will be able to attend to urgent medical needs but will be advising to delay routine treatments. Our staff will advise if a procedure can be delayed without being a concern for your pet. we will continue to perform contactless consults with pets dropped to the front door of the clinic and owners returning to their vehicle to speak with the vet over the phone. During the visit you pet will be cared for by a dedicated consult nurse. We ask all clients to adhere to the government regulations on mandatory mask wearing. Payment will ideally taken over the phone before returning to the front door to collect your pet. If you require medications or food supplies please phone ahead to order and pay and we will have them ready for collection. Having extra precautions in place to keep everyone safe does take some more time and care so we really appreciate all your ongoing support and patience.
