06.01.2022 Earlier this month, Montrose Physiotherapist Isabella presented at the Queensland Children’s Hospital for the Queensland Paediatric Physiotherapy Clinical Network. She shared a case study on Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, following the journey of a young client with this condition. Isabella contributed her knowledge and experience providing physiotherapy to young children SMA, and the outcomes that have been achieved. Isabella has a special interest for physiotherapy for infants and children, and works closely with children who have SMA. This was a great opportunity to provide insight into the changing needs of these children, and how physiotherapy can contribute to their care.

06.01.2022 Unfortunately, we are experiencing some issues with telephone calls today at most of our centres. We are waiting for Telstra to provide a timescale to fix the problem and apologise if you are having any difficulty reaching us. You can email us at [email protected] and we hope to be able to answer calls again soon.

06.01.2022 Everyday is different as an Occupational Therapist at Montrose! As we reach the end of OT Week, here are some great photos of our OT’s doing what they do best. Jordane tells us "Being an OT allows us to be creative and think outside the box to help our clients and family reach their goals while having lots of fun." Thanks to all our OTs and their clients for all of the work they do!
