21.01.2022 Meet our newest team member! Our therapy robot has been enlisted to help with therapy sessions at Montrose and we need your help to give it a name! Following a recent trial, we have now purchased a robot for ongoing therapy use. Research has shown that robots can have a wide range of benefits in therapy sessions for children across all age groups. Here at Montrose, we will initially be using our robot to assist in teaching turn taking and to work on social interactions. Our r...obot was developed by Aldebaran Robotics, a French robotics company and is known as NAO (pronounced Now). However, we think it is important to give NAO a more friendly name! We’re asking Montrose customers to enter our colouring and naming competition to help us decide on a name. You download the entry form to print and colour at home: https://bit.ly/30bY6Tn You can either drop your entry back on your next visit or enter online by taking a photo or scan and emailing your entry to [email protected]

This includes wheelchair accessible entrances, seating, toilets and parking. Anyone can switch on Accessible Places and contribute accessibility information to help the whole community. ... There's still a lot to do in this space but it certainly looks like a good start. Find out how to enable the feature and start contributing here: https://bit.ly/3epaHaf
